We loved it. Only here for a couple of nights this trip, but it was all we needed. Nice lots, full hook ups, good water pressure. We stayed at spot #3. Will be back.

Most pads have some broken concrete with a lot of gravel. But they tend to be very unlevel. Look at the pictures of a full-timers to stay there and you'll see cinder blocks to compensate for the elevation changes. Wi-Fi was very for. It's in a dip so cellular was also hard to get.

Not a bad place at all just was very hard to level and the roads were in need of some repairs

Nice campground tucked away in the woods. The sites are quite unlevel but staying for one night it's not a big deal. Owner was nice and personable! Definitely recommend if you're passing through Birmingham!

Friendly people running the campground. They honored the Passport America. The site itself was level once you got to it. Definitely a bit rough pulling a vehicle into it because of previous concrete slabs that were broken up. It's quiet, lots of trees and maybe if we had a different site instead and stayed longer we would enjoy it more.

The people here are very friendly. It is a nice quiet place to stay and has a big private pond. We only stayed for a night but nice short stay. Wouldn't say it is a place for familys to get out and have fun since it is limited. But for short stop family or long term adult its great.

This place is a gem! We travel alone since our kids are grown so we don’t need or want all the extra amenities for kids. Most of the sites are long and spaced so they are not on top of each other. They have multiple large areas to walk our dog and a beautiful lake we can walk around & fish in. The area is blissfully quiet & clean. The laundry room & showers, although older are very clean. The owners are great & will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. The town of Helena is only a couple miles away and Birmingham only about 30 minutes. We are coming back in a week or so from the Miami area and can’t wait to return to some quiet & tranquility!

So sorry that we are only here for one night. Love the area. Office folks were very nice. Seems like there is a lot of interesting places to visit in the area. Hope to come back and spend more time.

Absolutely love this place. The area is beautiful the ladies in the front house are wonderful and very helpful. The bathhouse laundry room and rec room are conveniently located in one building and its really nice. There is a huge deck that overlooks the private pond where you can sit and relax and enjoy a nice sunset or sunrise. I recommend the park to everyone

Wonderful owner and staff. Great neighbors. Well kept sites when weather permits. Will continue to stop there when traveling.

Run down to the point they will never recover. Office was NASTY. Polite staff. Laundry was clean. Mostly permanent rv's. Next to us was a motor home that was green with an abandoned VW to match. Helen was very friendly but gentleman at laundry made it very clear to us we weren't welcome there.

This was perfect for what we needed. It was opened in the 30s I think as a camping/swimming spot but no more swimming. There are full timers and construction workers however everyone we met was polite and courteous. The campground is quiet with no partying and it was located about 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham. We were about 15 minutes from Cahaba river which had hiking and excellent mountain bike trails. About 20 minutes from Moss Rock for hiking. About 25 minutes from Vulcan park/museum. About 20 minutes from coke ovens park which was interesting. We were there for a month in a fifth wheel. I’d definitely go back.
