I stayed there and found that I had very low voltage. When I brought this to the owners attention he flat out lied and claimed the power company wouldn't t sale him more amps... being an electrical contractor I informed him that was incorrect and he began cussing,so I took my camper elsewhere.

The staff is very nice and it's a beautiful older place.

Called to see about a spot for rent and was turned down over the phone! Site unseen the absolute rudest guy I have ever talked to!!! Not to mention he did not even meet me, he just assumed he knew what he was talking about!!! Your loss of $400 a month pal

If you're the type of person who eschews chain restaurants because you prefer local establishments, Cherokee Campground is probably your kind of place. Beautiful surroundings, well-kept facilities, and people most definitely worth meeting. William runs a tight ship, and is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet -- that is, as long as you're not making a ruckus in his park after 10 PM! Be sure to call ahead, because this place stays busy. And big rigs fit just fine, BTW.

I thoroughly enjoy staying at this campground. Has full hook ups, laundry and shower area, and very peaceful. Bill is so very nice and told me if there was anything I needed to let him know. I will definitely stay here again.

Cherokee Campground & RV Park is a rundown old campground in a lovely setting. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay at this park again.

This is a cheap place to stay. Has bath house and laundry however wifi is absent. Roads are tight. If you have a longer rig this place might not work. Call ahead. Maintenance people will damage you belongings if you leave them outside.

In my search to cut down on drive time to and from my husband's job site,( We own/operate a small family business)I called and spoke with Bill. He was very rude! Said that only 4 ppl could stay in my camper. Only one of our employees isn't family. Well Mr.Bill if I can't bring the whole family, I'll stay elsewhere. You could be a great guy with a great business... That idk. But for myself and my family we will let you destroy others and your own business. By the way... We are a very strong military family that has enough heart, money and common (not so common in your sense) sense to know that we don't care to do business with your kind! This would be a disgrace to "the south" as southern hospitality! May God put peace and love into your heart air. Life is too beautiful and short to spend it being ugly to one another. I don't appreciate being stereotyped. Judge and you shall be Judged Mr.Bill. yep it's your business, but for me and mine I'm so glad your true colors showed before I paid you to accommodate my family!

Bill is a great guy, has been nothing but nice and accommodating. Has checked on me several times to make sure there was not any problems. Love the guy and would reccomend to anyone looking for a quiet nice place to stay. I will store my camper here when my house closes and we move in.

Quiet Park, many long term residents, and a manager that takes pride in the park.

Stayed here a few weeks ago... Real nice lake, but the rest of the place was nothing to talk about. I am sure in years past this was a nice place, but is severely run down now. Listed as full hookups, but had not cable TV, also no picnic tables.
