We called and were told they had 1 spot left. Called back when we were 15 minutes out to let them know we were close and someone else told me they did not have any spots and had not had any spots in 2 months. Now it's after 5 pm and most everyone is closed. Don't stay here!!!!!!!!!!

I've thoroughly enjoyed the time I've stayed at Cherokee. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Bill is a great guy and does a stellar job running this place. If you're looking for a place to party at all hours of the night then this is not for you. If you're looking for a safe facility, fair pricing and a convenient location then give this one a look. I consider it my home away from home and have had an overall wonderful experience.

Owner went above and beyond to help us out. My mother had been transferred to the Hospital and he met us up there on a Sunday to show us were to go. Facility is very nice and spots were level and easy to get in and out of.

Guy running campground (Bill) is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever met. He constantly calls people stupid and goes on bipolar rants. If you ask any tenant who has stayed for an extended amount of time they will have a story for you. Will scream and talk down to children, post signs on buildings calling someone stupid for something that causes him to get upset, if you ring bell more than once to office will cuss you out, The park is average but it is not worth dealing with this guy.

This is a great facility. It has lots of places to walk and a beautiful lake. The location is very good (convenient to both Hoover and Bessemer) and there is nearby shopping. I enjoyed speaking with the owners. They were very friendly and helpful!
