Very nicely situated resort overlooking the marina. Couple minutes walk to the water from any space on the resort. Weather is always beautiful, sometimes cold if you come from warmer parts of the country like us (Palm Springs). Great experience, will come back for sure 👍

Very clean resort. We parked in a bay view space which had a lot of privacy, great views and were kept clean. The staff was amazing especially Rose who works in the store. Location is right across the bay which has a park . We didn't go swimming in the bay but seen many people swimming there. Coronado and silver strand (both beautiful)are about 15 minutes away.

The staff greeted us for a late arrival, took us to our spot and even provided a friendly security guard named Mitch with a flashlight to help with hookup. The facilities were super clean, numerous and easy to get to. The pool, although we didn't use it while the looked really well maintained and inviting. Location was close to great beaches and downtown so it's an ideal place to plop down for a stay in San Diego. Too bad it's going to close in November, they do a great job. One of the best RV parks we've stayed in. Great place!

The staff here at the resort are hard working friendly and talented. This park is very well maintained. Guests are treated as family. Even though the location of the resort is changing in the very near future, the resort staff maintain this resort as if it's brand new and will be here forever. The location is incredible, you don't feel like you are in the heart of the metropolis. Everything you need to feel at home, close to the city stores, or the feel of being away from it all. You will have a great time.

Beachfront and right beside the marina and a beautiful waterfront park! Very easy access to both. Fabulous pool and great amenities. Beautifully maintained.This is a prime location. Sadly, this park will be closing to make way for more upscale facilities in the future. The rv. park will be relocated to a nearby area. For now, it's my favorite in the San Diego area.

This place won’t be here much longer, so if you’re reading this before they close... this place is a must stay! And I’m devastated watching it close down. Remember as kids, we weren’t watched like hawks like today’s society? We rode bikes until sunset because parents felt safe? Well, this is exactly this place. People here are beyond friendly. Kids every where making friends! You feel absolutely safe here. The staff- I have stayed here for 6 months now, and they have been nothing but amazing! All of them are so sweet, caring and helpful! The security guards, maintenance crew, cleaning crew are also personal and friendly too The place it’s self had free hot showers, spotless bathrooms pet facilities, even hot showers for the pups! Golf putting area, heated pool and jacuzzi, gym! All right on the beach. What more could you ask for? Besides the park getting together about three times a week to do something for the pets, kids and or family! Oh and it’s a gated community too !! The marina is walking distance which has excellent drinks and food! Couldn’t recommend this place enough !!

Nicepark with great views. Our site overlooks a marina. Adjacent Bayside Park had lovely views of San Diego bay.

Nice convenient campground, campsites have adequate size with lots of greenery. Roads are narrow and you will need to wait for someone else to back their rig, parking is not abundant. Ammenities are adequate and much appreciated. The place is very clean, great staff and conveniently located. This place is much appreciated by older folks or families without kids. Great quiet and relaxing atmosphere, not the "party animal" type of place. They offer long term rental per month, perfect for snow birds too.

Can I give this place more than 5 stars?! Our family was there for 8 days and had the best time. This place is very dog friendly. I love that there's a park just outside the fence for our little man. This place is very well kept and quiet. They have laundry on site and it's actually really cheap. There's something there for everyone. I also love that it is big rig friendly. It's so hard finding spots for our big 5th wheel. Bonus that they had pull throughs. If you're on the fence of going there, hurry up before it's not there anymore. We had so much fun.

One of our favorite RV Resorts. This is the second time we’ve stayed here after first staying here over a year ago. The par is clean, the staff is friendly and the location is wonderful. The ability to walk on the bay, by the marina and park is fantastic and it’s a quick trip to anything you need.

We stayed two weeks at the Chula Vista RV Resort and we really enjoyed it. The staff was wonderful and the park was very clean and well organized. We especially were grateful to the staff for graciously giving my son one of their pumpkins on Halloween when there was no pumpkin to be found in the stores. The activities are fun and the neighbors are great. We would definitely recommend their resort to anyone coming through the area!

We have been there mid October 2019. It’s a great resort, well maintained and located with Marina and bayside access. Very pricey and the most expensive site during our trip. Ultimately overpriced, WiFi with poor connection and hence not advertised across all sites. Our foldable camping chairs and a doormate were stolen and staff was not very helpful. Could be a 5 star with better prices and WiFi coverage.
