The staff was very nice, but to pay $180 for two nights and couldn’t swim in the pool and the lake that you were supposed to be able to swim in there was people fishing on the dock all day and you had to jump in off the dock and it was hard to get back up out of the water . We are not happy camper

This resort was awesome. It was quiet and close to amenities. We really enjoyed the close spring access for paddle boarding. We'll stay here again.

5 star all the way. Easy access, very clean, and friendly rv park. Lisa in the office was great and John (the park ranger šŸ˜€) was very helpful as well. Oh I didn't catch the gals name up in the convenience store; she was very sweet and helpful. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here. Thank you fir being wonderful hosts.

Nice kept up rv park. Friendly staff. We only stayed on night but will stay again someday. Very clean restrooms, showers and swimming pool. I think most sights had concrete pads but not all. The wifi was really strong and the park is close to restaurants and shopping.

Super friendly people, we had to come in a day later than our original plan. They were so accommodating. The park is super clean and conveniently located near the Florida Caverns state park. We loved our site #16

This was my favorite RV camping spot yet! We have been camping for 4 years now and this was by far the best place we have visited. They have worked so hard to get things back up and running after the tornado and it really shows. This place is beautiful, clean and well organized. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. We kayaked the lake, which is BEAUTIFUL. We visited the caverns state park. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

The staff is so friendly! There were 6 campers in our group, families and friends. The lake was beautiful, fun to kayak and fish. The kids enjoyed the pool. We recommend heading over to Seacrest Wolf Preserve for a day outing, amazing experience, a must when in the area!

Our camping club, the Sunny Peaches, about 15 + units, was able to camp here around the middle of February. The campgrounds had been hit by a very destructive 🌪 tornado in the early part of January. Yet they managed to have enough sites back up and running for all of us, plus the clubhouse that, as far as I know, only sustained minimal damage. There was still ongoing repair work to the grounds and other individual sites, but it was done without any inconvenience to those of us campers.

Didn't feel like a resort at all. It seems all the sites were facing the wrong way. The pond was in front of camp site. No view and noise from Hwy 90 that goes by the resort. Too expensive for site.

If you are looking for inspiration, this is the place. Oct 2018 Hurricane Matthew totaled the campground (then known as Arrowhead) a few days after the new owner purchased. Fast forward 5-1/2 years. Shortly after completion of new cabins, on January 9, 2024, an F-2 tornado blew apart the RV Park. No one was killed but several were seriously hurt. |Our RV Rally group, the Peach State Allegros, were scheduled for an RV Rally 5 weeks after the tornado hit. Did we need to find another place to hold our rally? There is no other RV Park that could have picked up the pieces so quickly to accommodate our group of 15 rigs. How did they pull this off? The owner, property manager, and every volunteer that helps run this beautiful, peaceful place have their heart and soul in this property. They are amazing. |Our group encourages everyone to check out this special place, spend some time talking with the remarkable folks that lived through the tornado and helped bring this park back to life. Enjoy Merritt’s Mill Pond, the wildlife, take a canoe or kayak trip down the 5-6 mile pond fed by 6 freshwater springs. Watch the turtles basking in the sun off the docks.||Enjoy life here.

This is not a resort. We have stayed at resorts, this isn’t it. This is an older park that hasn’t been updated in a while. The luxury pull through space we rented is made for a bus. We have a 5th wheel so we weren’t allowed to pull in so that we had a view of the lake with our big window. Our luxury pull through spot we paid extra for didn’t even have a picnic table. The roads you ride into the park on are broken up blacktop. There are other places in town you can stay that are cheaper and the same as this. The quiet time that is enforced at most parks obviously isn’t in effect at this one as our neighbor was out at 6:30 blowing off his patio and woke us up. Then went back inside and went back to sleep so it wasn’t like he was leaving. None of my review is reflective of the tornado damage. That was taken into account with this review.

Stayed one night. Checkin was easy and the site was very nice. Sad to see all the damage from the tornado. Would stay again when we are back down this way.
