Nice place to stay. It is a very large parking lot but they do have a big playground if you have small children. No real Amenities except use of a gym inside the building but we are here for work so not a huge deal. We are close to lots of shopping and restaurants! That’s the bonus for us!

We stayed here for one night during a road trip. Pros: It was super easy to reserve a spot online. The park was easy to find and not too far from the interstate. Totally paved and level site. Quiet and clean. Seemed secure. Cons: the place seems to be a parking lot with hook-ups. Sites are pretty tight. Not a place to vacation, but just fine for an overnight or if you’re there to attend an event. The rates are a bit steep for what you’re getting ($52/nite). The park was a LOT more full than was depicted on the online site selection tool, so I don’t think management keeps on top of that.

I like the kids Park and the soccer field. It's basic. I cannot put 5 stars because there is anything special. It's a parking lot set up for RV. It's not bad.

Great stopover or if you have to do outpatient at one of the hospitals, they allow you up to 90 days and more with doctors note. Great for UAB in and outpatient stays.

We spent one night at the campgrounds while traveling on our way to the Gulf. It's not a campground you'd vacation at. It's more meant for those attending sporting events at the Metroplex. Was fine and safe for an overnight. Reasonable price as well.

Pros: Nice clean sites. Full hookups All pull throughs Very convenient to everything. You can use some of the Met site amenities. Cons: Larger Big Rigs will need to unhook. It’s basically a parking lot with hookups. Not much shade. However, Kudos to City of Hoover for providing an RV park in their area where there are few Campground options. I do appreciate staying in the heart of town. Good work!

It was the worst experience I've had while RV camping. 1st, our site was given away. The 2nd, the folks next to us used ours and their electric hock ups. Left us the 50 amp. Fortunately, we had a step-down adapter. No help was available from the site management, and the neighbor was not available or was hiding in their camper. I wouldn't stay here or ever recommend this place to a fellow camper I like.

It is a parking lot with hookups! Just south of Birmingham. Not many trees and did not see a picnic table. Will use again because of location

Our reserved and paid for site was occupied by a travel trailer. No one would answer their phone to fix the issue. We had to find another site on our own and hope it didn't belong to someone else.

Definitely either a short term stay due to its convenience to the Hoover Met Complex or your there long term for work. I would not come here for a true RV camping experience. The sites are all setup like buddy sites and extremely close together. When I arrived there was someone in my spot and when I inquired with the office, they had no clue anyone was in that spot. It took them three other sites to find one that was empty for me to move to as they had no clue the others were occupied either. The grounds are clean and well maintained. They need to get a control on who is where in their campground.

Been coming here for 4 years or so. It has slowly changed to being a full-time rv park vs the stop overs. Loud at night, cars, music and dogs. Location is great, but is getting more crowded as area get developed. Full hookups which is nice. Well maintained area. Super easy to reserve, very responsive communication. We use to like to hang out for a few days and enjoy Hoover, but think it will now just be a quick night stopover.

Just a little piece off I459 and a drive thru a tree lined road, you will find the Hoover Metroplex. The last entry is the entry to the RV parking. You make your reservation online and get your space assigned. The spaces are pull-thru, easy in and easy out. We are return customers, the first was in a 41 ft Phaeton and last visit was in a Greyhawk 32ft 6ins. The spaces are full hook-up.

Great place. FHU, asphalt sites. Close to lots of shopping. Dogs (2 pit mixes) running at large while owner flies around in her suv trying to "catch" them. She'll give you a long story about how they're dog friendly and how they busted through her RV door and she doesn't know what to do (apparently that's her go to). Brown dog "Buddy" runs up on other dogs and doesn't like people. Park Ranger was spoken with and numerous people stated the dogs run loose all the time. Ranger said they don't play like that in Alabama, but never made contact with her about the dogs running loose/being a hazard.

Stayed overnight here. It's got full hookups and very close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again. The Finley Center is here as well. It's a first class facility that offers many sports activities and has occasional trade shows.

I previously had occasion to review this location because was impressed with the services kindness , but I am reviewing AGAIN... Because they have on a 2nd Occasion BLOWN ME AWAY with their services kindness & human decency for a 2nd time!!@ We stopped here for RV Park... it is a Ygrest option (level sites, clean, well lit safe feeling. This 2nd time we went there we used their athletic services (they have walking track climbing wall, workout facility, including men's & women's locker room with Showers. (REASONABLE fee for some services) The Main contact for RV services is Amber & she is is delightfully kind knowledge efficient & welcoming! Next time we are in Alabama (we fulltime RV travel) & have the chance we will DEFINITELY stay here again... we ADORED the Indoor walking track... wish every RV Park had this service!!! LOL
