Great spot. Awesome free fireworks. Even though it's just a parking lot venue it is a great location pleasant surroundings, good atmosphere similar to game tailgating.

I got space #20- very good. Site- up close to the Findley Center- when youdrive down Stadium Trace Parkeay, take a left on Ben Chapman drive- drive across the parking lot and you will see the campers- you pull in your slot and hook up- that’s it- no office- kinda like the honor system- The board that is stationed near the Finley center gives you an after hours number which is a police number but if you have trouble call it anyway- There is plenty of green space to walk your dog- very safe- visited my brother who lives in Homewood- I enjoyed watching the kids going into their basketball camps- walked down and watched kids playing baseball-

We had no street light...no one met us there and there were no picnic tables. However there is a great kids play ground and the place was clean.

My experience here has not been great. 2 stars because the actual campground and grounds are nice but management is HORRIBLE. Windy the director here is downright rude. We arrived yesterday and like other reviewers have said someone was in our spot. Per the check-in email I called THE ONLY NUMBER LISTED FOR HELP and had to leave a voicemail. We also attempted to call a reservation line and they were unable to give us any information about who to contact. Eventually the people showed up (4 hours after their checkout time) and after an hour of getting packed up they left. 24 hours later I finally received a call back from Windy. She very rudely informed me that I should’ve emailed her instead of leaving her a voicemail and that I could have gone in the Finley Center and someone could have helped me. She also told me that it was my own fault that we had to wait around in our car and that if we had done a little more investigating then we wouldn’t have had a problem....I’m sorry, WHAT? No where in the email does it say that someone at the Finley center would be able to help? How am I supposed to know that? Also, how am I supposed to know that she responds to emails over voicemails? They should update their checkin information if the number listed is not going to be the quickest way to get help. Also, terrible customer service to blame everything on a customer. I’ve never experienced someone so rude. So basically if you get here and no one happens to be in your spot and you don’t ever have to speak with anyone about a problem then you’ll probably give this place a 5 star review....but if you are like us an learn that no one here polices the place and anyone can just drive up and stay in a spot without anyone knowing, then you might have a problem.

Not a bad place for a short stay just never stay in a site close to the Complex because it can be Very Very loud with noise. It is a parking lot with RV hookups. Sites was not designed for big rigs towing a vehicle. There is not enough room to park a toad. Very few shades & very little greenery. Worst problem is all sites are designed for 2 campers to use water, sewerage & electricity from the same location, meaning first camper has to face forward & the next camper has to face the opposite direction. We stayed on site #2. Would stay again if nothing else available in the area.

This was a last minute reservation and I’m so glad we made it! It is a great spot for an overnight when you need a place to rest. It is a large parking lot with full hookups. There is a playground super close for the kids to run off their crazy. The only down fall was no dog park. But it’s completely understandable since it’s a huge sport complex. They had plenty of space to walk our girl. When we arrived there was someone in our spot. I call customer service and told them. They were great! We had pulled into another spot to wait while we were on the call. We asked if it was available and she said it was. So she moved our reservation to that one. All in all it is a great quiet place to rest before hitting the road again.

Was a different experience in camping but have no complaints. Watched some soccer games and felt safe. Would recommend to anyone. Must use internet to schedule site.

This RV park was great!! Social distance it was. Very clean, quite, and safe. It was a large parking spot but once you set up you feel at home 🏡. I'll use it again.

This location is clean, quiet and the space is large to maneuver in and to have space between each other. The play ground is wonderful to play in and on. The soccer, baseball and softball fields are within walking distance. If in the area, make arrangements to stay.

Watched an outdoor show during covid19. We had to keep staff from coming too close. Many did not wear a mask or appear to have any face covering at all. The music outside of the vehicle some bad as it was out of sync due to all the audio from the vehicles. Neat show, but not good.

I made this reservation as a last minute notice so I could not cancel but believe me when I got here I wanted to. I was looking forward to laundry and showers which this park has none of either. So when I found out I couldn’t get my money back I just want ahead and stayed. Also my first lot that I rented 167 someone was already on it so I had to call and have them switch my lot to 161. ||Got up this morning after my first night and found a letter on my window saying that no one supposed to be on this spot and for me to either email the office with my confirmation number or pay. Well I’m not paying twice so I emailed the office which I got an email back that they are closed which I understand at this time but they would answer my email if they get to it. What’s the use of telling me to email them to show my confirmation number if no one is there to receive it? I actually forwarded their own email back to them with my confirmation and told them it has been horrible since I’ve arrived here and not to harass me anymore because of their lack of record keeping. Check in was online also they should have that. Stay away!

Great camping area that is fully paved with no amenities. Very easy hook up, pull thru, entry and exit. Convenient to all Hoover area amenities. No staff at all. Everything is online. It's a quiet mystery.

Very nice and clean park for those needing access to Hoover Met sports facilities. Everything is flat, no dirt/gravel and there is no shade for those needing relief from the sun. Easy driving access to lots of eating places and/or shopping.

Paid $44 per day. Did not accept any discount memberships. Visited in late November with no reservation. Half empty lot. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). We stayed in spot 87. It's a flat, clean, well lit lot. HUGE playground that was just built last year for the kids right next to the RV lot. The power and water are conveniently located in a modern pedestal. The sewer is a little tricky to attach because you park on the asphalt and the sewer is up on the curbed island. So it takes a bit of work to get the required downward slope for gravity to do its job. Most people had something stacked on the asphalt to build up to the level of the curb. Each island has a large trash can. No restaurants, grocery stores or gas stations right next door, but it's only a few minutes to a couple different strip malls. Seems like a very nice area. Docked a star for a hidden phone reservation fee. Payment and arrival info was confusing because there wasn't a check-in desk so we arrived at the park and called them to see where we could park (half the lot was empty). They took our info and then said there was a $4 per day fee for booking over the phone. We asked if the fee applied to online orders and they said yes. But after checking the online reservation system, there is no fee. So save $4 per day by just booking online!

I experienced the situation as "auugmobile". I tried calling several times but no one ever answered and they have no voice mail to leave a message so I booked my reservation online. We were buying a Motorhome and planned to stop one night on the way home at this park. We had some problems and I needed to cancel the reservation. I called a gazillion times...no answer, no way to leave a message and I could not cancel online. If someone had answered on my first call, I would have been in the frame time for a refund (48 hours notice). Nope, finally someone answered a day later and said sorry we can't refund your money.
