Was completely surprised to find it was a huge parking lot, but ok I just needed to park. My problem was how rude the young lady was when I called from the parking lot to inquire where I was to park. Our first time here so we had no idea how this type parking was done. She was so rude and unhelpful. Otherwise park is ok. Lots are small but they are level and clean.

Horrible place. Sites are wide but very short. No one on site to answer any questions. The electricity at our site wasn't working, so we called the reservation number who said they would have the property manager call us. After waiting for them to call quite a long time we called them again to say we're leaving and want a refund. She said she couldn't do that but would have the property manager call me about that. No word yet, almost 24 hours later!

The Riverchase Mall is only 3 miles away. There is lots of shopping and entertainment nearby. The sites are clean, well maintained, have water, sewer, WiFi and cable. I emailed them from the website to make my reservations, it was easy and the response time was fantastic. This is really a great, quiet, and convenient place to stay. :-)

We stayed here for two nights. It is a nice location in Birmingham and the sites are nice and level. The sites are a bit small but since it was very open we had no issues with fitting both our trailer and our truck. If the park had been more full we would not have been able to fit our truck as our 36' trailer filled the spot.

We love this place. My husband and I have camped here once a month for the past four years. We come here every year for Thanksgiving to be close to the Black Friday Deals. It makes my heart hurt knowing that it will be closed until May 2017. The new expansion should be a great benefit for the city of Hoover. I am hoping that they will beef up their WiFi signal for the campground post-construction. This is not a normal campground. It is a parking lot with power pedestals, sewer and water hook ups. There is no cable available at this site. It is mainly for those who "glamp" and like to be close to amenities. It is very close to Hoover shopping/restaurants as well as right off the interstate. May 2017 can't come fast enough! My only hope is that the campground will still have that sleepy charm that it did before.
