Love living here such a great place to visit and live. Well now not such a good place the new owner bill is a very hard person to have to deal with and the maintenance man Rowland has been known to run off guest and calls the cops all the time.so watch out.. when going there if you get a little loud and the cops are called you move out.would not waste my time setting up in there you will not last in and they don't drug test the maintenance men randomly .so u are on your own out there so just watch what's going on around you and have a good day

It’s a nice enough place (not top notch, I suspect due to the Marina). Trees need some trimming. Couldn’t get the canopy out. Nice store for goods. Cable had no end and it seemed to paralyze the place. Office blamed the cable company (kind of a stupid thing to do). I ultimately went down to ACE and bought a screw on 75 ohm connector and fixed it myself. Overall, an OK place. We’ll try another place if we return.

Fished Saturday was hard to find parking and lot doesn’t support many boaters . Wife and I used bathrooms, disgusting isn’t the word. Was informed after taking out that they were towing vehicles with any Warning ! Boaters beware if coming to this landing, I’ll not be back !

Had small club tournament there Friday 11/15/19. Been coming for years. But, a club member truck & trailer towed for parking next to 8’ high chain link fence with NO Gate to access That Storage area on other side of launch fence. Yes, signs said “Storage area” no park we could figure that out but No Accessible from Boat Parking side figures ok. Oh, No, gotta tow! Here is suggestions for improvements to owners. 1) don’t sell but 10 boat launch passes cause only 10 can launch and park safely. Don’t take 20 five dollar bills from honest fishermen who call ahead. Then, tow when!!!! Over sold!!! Post that on both sides of your 8’ chain link fence gates going into boat ramp parking area then y’all will not have anymore trouble Or confusing thoughts. I am a Republican and have been for 60 years. Must be A set up opportunities for tow company & owners or camping business side. Y’all, can understand now why a masters degree Republicans who fishing there for years and called ahead are Not coming back and spreading the word about this shady operations. Or at best confusing signs & fences now smoke that big daddy’s!

The lake is stunning! The showers are awful! The owner has put in shower faucets that are like public bathroom sinks. You push them on and they turn off by themselves in 5 seconds! If you want a normal shower you have to push the knob again and again and again! I've been to a lot of parks and I'm sure water costs are high, but no-one has handled it this way. No thanks.

Our bass fishing club uses this launch maybe once per year. Its an adequate, convenient location but recently we had some members that we treated rudely.||This year, the launch parking area has been fenced and gated. It holds about 12 truck and trailers(maybe) that are unmarked parking spots. So we parked in the area the best we could fit. They will sell passes all day long without limiting the passes sold to the number of boat trailer spots. So, that makes you guess in the dark where to park safely. Today one of members arrives back at the launch and they have towed his truck and trailer that was inside the boat launch fence and not obstructing any right of ways. I launched after all the members had left and was approached by a rude elderly man that said he was going to tow my vehicle if I didn’t move it( I was getting the boat ready to launch out of the right of way in the fenced in lot. (When I let the that afternoon a single truck and trailer was left in the lot in the exact location that this elderly man had threatened me.) Not sure what is going on at Lakeside Marina in Pell City but BOATERS BEWARE! Hopefully our club and others will find a safer and more pleasant boat launch areas to conduct our business.||I have taken the time to look at past reviews in other social media post to discover this has been happening over the last year.

Nice place for family meet ups and fishing. Bathrooms clean, laundry mat on site. Boat launch. Fairly convenient. Great lake access.

Not the nicest park ever but certainly very nice. Extremely friendly staff and very convenient with gas and nice convenience store right there. Also really cool to have a lake right there. Would highly recommend this place. Nice and level, more shade would be nice but then again trees don’t overnight. Would definitely stay again.

We always stayed here when we go to Florida each year. I've always enjoyed our stay. Plenty of places to park with no reservations. Great view across the lake.

It's fine just wish they would tell you when there isn't any parking for your truck/trailor. Fence is a little narrow at the gate

I thought it was a good place. But My son's breaker went bad and the staff told him it may be 2 out 3 days to be fixed and if he didn't like it he could move his rv out.(that came from the owner). Then today one of the staff members(roland)moved cones from in front of the swimming area and told my wife if she didn't like it he would have her thrown out. So im beginning to think they Apparently don't care if you stay here or not. I rent 3 spots here and rent a storage over 2000 a month. May be time to move on. Not the place I thought it was. Not very professional at all!!!

Stayed here overnight on the way home from South Carolina. Nice park. Spacious sites, downfall... can't reserve in advance. Beautiful waterway with a boat ramp. Be prepared to hear the road of boat engines early am as boats are launched.

Peaceful place to relax even has boating storage etc.. r.v lots an hook ups rentals,they will put in an out ur boats for u. They have the cherin on site with r v.parts supplies,floats life vest,they have chips drinks milk,milos tea,bread,coffee and fixings, ice cream bowls or cone,coke or cherry icey,sausage an hotdogs with fixings, nacho cheese and jalapeno peppers, also serve barbq sandwiches, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, need quick grabs,a spirt store on site,a laundry mat,gas bags ice,minos for fishing ,Atm inside,they have a boat shop repair,in the back of the store they even have shower house its lined with bathrooms and showers one side they have for men an boys on the other door is for women an girls all in all great place friendly staff an helpful just ask..

Wonderful overnight stay. Very quiet, slept well. Beautiful evening stroll down to the lake. Pull through site, was able to leave my car attached. We have a 40 ft. Motorhome. Easy in and out. Gas station on site.
