This park is nicely located on Logan Martin lake and has access to some of the best Bass fishing in the state. The park however is far from the best. The overcrowding and constant traffic from fishing tournament makes it difficult to sit back and relax. The parks facility's are severely dated and are in a state of disrepair. To top it all off the prices are high and the staff are rude.

This place sucks. 2 shootings, 1 overdose, everyone acts like they're tweeking. Rent always goes up, bathhouse is disgusting the laundry facility is hilariously terrible. The people who live here are the main problem.

More like a trailer park it's definitely no RV Resort. Bathhouse is nasty and showers are terrible. Grass stays 10 to 12 inches high. No management over campground everybody stays in their store busy taking people's money.

This is a large park (200+ sites) and they do not take reservations unless there is a race in Talladega. You check in at the gas station which has a well stocked convenience store. The roads are easy to navigate in and out. We stayed March 6-13, 2017. We were in site #4 which is right next to the parking lot for the boat ramp so there was a little car noise but not bad. The site was gravel and very level. It was just long enough for our 37-foot class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There is a picnic table and small cement patio. Hooks up were all easy to get to and use, water pressure was good. The lake views are pretty and the park is quiet. WiFi was fair and our Verizon signal was good. We paid $30.69 a night with our Good Sam Discount.

Beautiful view of the lake, but it is a little crowded. The rates are pretty good as they provide full hookup plus WiFi and cable tv access. Bathhouse is clean but showers are lukewarm. Staff is friendly. Laundromat is okay but most of the dryers are out of order. Overall we have enjoyed our stay. Oh fishing is great of course!

I lucked out today. My destination filled up before i made a reservation and here i am at Lakeside Landing waiting out a storm to head home tomorrow. Staff is great and get a water front spot if available. Dont miss Chilly Willys at hotel next door with good bar food and live music.

So far, we are NOT impressed. We couldn't access our site starting at the 12pm check in and finally were able to get to our truck to get the boat out around 4pm. They had a high school tournament going on. We went to report it to the office and were told we should have called and reported it and they would have asked people to move or tow the vehicles. (Like the owner of a new Phoenix boat and new truck would worry about a $75 towing fee). Funny thing, their own employees were all around the area and there was No possible way THEY didn't notice and do something about it without patrons having to call..... Hopefully I can post a better review before our stay is over....

The place is horrible. Its infested with german roaches i had to throw away all the outside furniture 2 times now. The lake stinks and there is broken beer bottles along the shore line along with a whole bunch of trash and dead fish. The laundry room only has one working dryer. The bath houses are not kept up. There employes just ride around in the company truck all day not doing anything at all but staring at you. The people in the store are very rude. They dont treat the place for bugs. The first time we stayed here someone was killed the package store caught on fire and there alarm went off for just about 24 hrs straight and they didnt do anything about it. I dont recommend staying here.

This is a marina and an RV park. This review is for the RV portion. The fact that they take no reservations was concerning since we were arriving later in the evening and if they had been full it would have been an hour's drive or more to the next place. That said, the site was big enough for our 40-foot motorhome plus tow. The site was gravel and relatively flat. The lake is easy walk from all sites. Convenience store on property open from 5:30 am - 9:00 pm. WiFi was slow and weak like most campgrounds - would hate to see it when they're full. Women who registered us sent us to Fat Boys BBQ to eat but obviously did not know they were closed on Tuesdays. Wasted drive.

DISGUSTING!! On a cross country trip I used truck stops that were cleaner. Sinks full of bugs mold in the showers and the entire place reeked of urine. The worst part was after deciding that I most certainly did not want to use that particular bathhouse I watched old boy go in to "clean" with one bottle of cleaner and one rag. GROSS! either he did not clean something (or anything at all) or even worse he cleaned everything with the same rag. If cleanliness means anything at all to you DO NOT STAY HERE!!! GROSS GROSS GROSS

This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we've had in our first 4 months of full-timing. Easy full hook up sites for our 40' motor home. Try it, you'll like it!

[[DO NOT STAY HERE!]] I've been a full timer for 7 years now (27yo) I've ran into some bad places but this one just out rite ruined my entire memorial day weekend plans I called to make reservations 2 weeks ahead of time n she said "oh no we don't take apt but I guarantee that u get a spot. So I drove 6.5 hours just to have then be rude n make me look like an idiot saying it's memorial day weekend of course we're full. So I said ok so why did u guarantee me a spot 2 weeks ago!????
