We met a lot of nice people here, but the spaces not level and we had to move to a different space twice! First night we got a knock on the door and was asked to move because the water pipe to our site was broken. They let us choose another site, but the power didn't work on that one, so we moved again, finally finding a spot where everything worked. They told is the park had not been renovated in 45 years and that they were planning to do that soon. The spaces were expensive despite no-level pads.

We were in town for business. We stayed here because it was close to our client. We read the reviews and saw they offered 10% for Good Sams members off the $30 nightly rate. We were told at check in the owner no longer offers that. But, they did not change the website to reflect that.||||It is a basic park that is worth more like $20-$25/night. We did get to pick our own site which was the one of the few that had mostly gravel so when it rained we were not in a mud pit.||||The other reviews about this park are true. I won't double up on what has already been stated. I can't imagine what this place would be like when it's busy!

Save your money and go somewhere else. There is no management here. Everyday, people opened their RV doors and just let their dogs run freely outside, many of which were unsupervised. Had a Yorkie run up on my leashed dog and I as we walked. I had to pick up my dog as the Yorkie nipped at my ankles. Owner was no where in site. Had two packages sent to us (not intentionally - family sent me birthday gifts). First package came up missing. I called the post office as we had a tracking number. Post office confirmed via their system that package was at RV parks mailbox when it was marked as delivered. Post office also informed us that packages go missing from this address often. I suspect package was stolen. Second package arrived but was open. Office claimed it came that way, but I know the post office puts opened packages in bags to secure them. This was not secured. Never again will be stay here.

Good price, there needs to be a separator for the full timers there and traveling business they get. To much outside decorative plants, rugs, what-nots... just look like a trashy trailer park.

Just had a problem with a couple of the washers in the laundry room. Went over and told the ladies at the store. One of them was very nice but the other one was about as rude as you could get. The name on her badge was Lil Donna. Never before have I had a problem at this store like this and I've been going here for about 12 years. Everyone has always been just as nice as can be until today. If this is the kind of customer service that is going to be like here then I can start going somewhere else.

Called to resserve a spot, paid for it. Was told from sunday to thursday the rate was 29.75. Then they said for wensday, the rate is 44.75. Then they said Monday the rate is 44.75 as the race. Did not like that but they had me over a barrel. Ouch

Reservations: The staff was immediately responsive and informative. Checkin: A very friendly and helpful young lady checked us in at the office/convenience store. Location: Campground is located about 6.5 miles south of I20 below Pell City. Site condition: The sites are gravel, level, and solid. Campground is easily navigated. The sites are average in their length and width. Navigating the campgrounds is easy. There are no untrimmed trees, narrow roads, or vehicles parked in the road. Utilities: Electric, water, and sewer were all very good. The 50 amp service is solid. The water pressure was just a little below 40 pounds. Local attractions: The campground is located on the shore of Logan Martin Lake, a very large reservoir that extends for many miles. Fishing and skiing are popular. Amenities: The restrooms were clean with the exception of the showers. They were largely covered in mildew. Press a knob on the wall in the shower to get six seconds of water. Really; I timed it. The shower cost them a star. In addition, the showers are quite cramped. No pool, playground or other such amenities. There is a convenience store and gas station in the campground with reasonable prices. The campground provides a boat ramp, boat storage, and other services. Internet access: Internet via Wifi was adequate for patiently catching up on the news and pulling down your email. Problems: None except for awful shower. Summary: This is a nice campground with friendly folks all around, from the staff in the office to the neighbors. If they would just clean the showers.

The service station there has a wide variety of snacks like boiled peanuts, alligator-ice slushi's, hot-dogs and soda fountain. With a huge variety of 🍺 beer and beverages and a liquor store conveniently located next door and operated by the owner of Lakeside Landing, which also carries bait & tackle (minnows). Located right on the water, an R.V. Park, where tenants have access to highspeed, WI-FI, water, electrical and a ⛵ boat landing/launch. You can store away your nautical vehichles, pontoons, motor-boats, jet-skis ect. for the winter. The view from the lake, which is located right behind the convenience/gas store is phenomenal, one can take advantage of the number of piers and docks to 🎏 fish, swim or just relax and take a paddle-boat out for fun. Good people, good environment, people are always BBQ'ing and drinking and having fun. Nice place, good service, open relatively late too. I give it a small town thumbs up👍

Really enjoyed our 4 day stay. My only complaint is the bathrooms....really need climate control or at minimum fans and dehumidifiers. Could also use bench seating along the far walls of the showers, as there's unused space that could benefit campers. Also dressing areas could be expanded/incorporated so it's not so claustrophobic. Other than that, we truly enjoyed the tranquility.

Was here 3 years ago and back again Aug 2018. Still an OK place, friendly people. Seems to be more long-term people living there. A little run down than 2014. I will probably look for another RV park next time I travel this way. Maybe one of the parks closer to the interstate

Very nice camping spots on the lake. There's a large store, laundromat, and bathrooms with showers. It's a great vacation spot and you can rent by the month. They do allow tents but not by the month.

Mrs. Goodgame who passed away recently would be very upset to read all the negative comments posted here. Ownership has not changed. Cindy Goodgame is still the owner. I lived at Lakeside Landing about nine years ago after I sold my home. After moving to an apartment in Pell City I put my camper in storage for several years. During that time i did have several problems however it is sad to read all the negative comments for the last two years. I live at another campground full time and will be here until I hit the lottery. I will then still be here just in a larger camper. Cindy needs to look at all the complaints and make changes quickly. Increasing rates and not improving the facility is not good business practice. You will end up with no business.

Big plenty of room, street side gas etc. Just heard Notice to all LOGAN MARTIN Anglers. There is a fence being put up today at Lakeside Landing blocking access to the boat ramp. The new owner has stated they want nothing to do with Bass Fishermen so I say we show them exactly how much we spent at that store. Effective immediately I will not but another drop of fuel or a cube of ice from the store and all clients will be instructed to meet me at Town And Country for their trips. Let’s show the new owners that jet skies and pontoon boats is not how they can survive business wise on the lake. Now would be a great time for the owners of clear creek to dig out the ramp to make it deeper (for low water usage) and expand the parking lot. They would make a small fortune taking the revenue from Lakeside in launch fees.
