No dump station???? I just wanted to pay my fee and dump my tanks. I really don't understand how the sites can have black water hookup, but no ability to let someone dump. The Flying J truck stop let me dump for free since the water was off in preparation for freezing weather. The lady at KOA wanted to help me but short of renting a spot was the only way I could dump the tanks for 60 bucks.

We had a 2 nights stay with our 45’ Motorcoach and tow. Quiet location. Easy off and onto I-70. Our site was pretty level as it is located on a slight slope. The grassy area on our site #7 was sufficient. It also had a slope down to our neighboring RV site. Packed gravel site, picnic table and fire ring. Road going into and out of the park itself are a bit rough. Waltz Road was fine. The only KOA sign was at the entrance to the campground. Staff was extremely friendly and their fire wood was excellent! Enjoyed our stay! Had dinner at Rodney’s Restaurant in Irwin. Really Good Food and Service.

Overall not a bad stay but it’s a lower level KOA. You can tell a lot of things are dated and need updated. The permanent guests don’t seem to be held to a standard. The campsites are full of trash and really look negative on the park. A lot of potholes on the road coming in.

We recently stayed at this KOA, & it's quite, & a perfect location for the wedding we were invited to. It also worked out great for us as we like too attend different renaissance fairs. The Pittsburgh renaissance fair was only 7 miles away. This was our 1st time at this fair, & this KOA location. I was very please with the value, & how clean the site was; Also it seemed to have a bunch of upgrades. If we are ever in this location again we'll put this at the top of of our list of KAO's to stay at.

The site is beautiful, restrooms are clean and there are a lot of attractions for children and grown people. The problem is that when we arrived (6.30 pm) everything was closed and there was already nobody for checking in. Outside the swimming pool and the pond there were big signs with written closure time 9 pm, but at 6.30pm they were closed! Maybe we arrived in low season period (Aug 30th) and attractions opening time are changing, but they should put some notice on the website and they should change the timing on the signs...

We were only stopping in for an overnight stay as part of a long distance trip with no idea when we would get in. Out itinerary was left for us at the front with clear instructions and while the check out process was left undefined, the facilities site was clean and really accessible to the highway. Even if this were a longer term stay I would definitely think it well spent

I have had great experiences when I stop at this campground. Very nice office people. Very nice wooded campground. Very nice bath house for a campground. Love the swimming pool. Cabins are awesome also.

We are KOA members and love to explore local properties for easy getaways. We just stayed at Madison in a Cabin - which was new for us. The cabin site was great, very shaded and within walking distance to all activities. The store is at the top of the hill so we did drive for wood and dumpster as the walk would have been a bit much with the kids. Very family friendly, our kids loved fishing in the pond and jumping on the pad. We really enjoyed our stay overall and will be returning for sure!

Not sure why the reviews are so low. Sites are smaller but still plenty of room. Pool was crystal clear, staff was friendly, roads were fine. We just stayed one night but would stay again if needed. Overall great experience.

Campground was adequate, have seen better and worse. Arrived after office hours, 7pm and found our campsite taken by another guest. Was not able to contact management because they would not answer the phone and voicemail was full. After an hour of trying to get a hold of someone we took another campsite and prayed we would not be woken up in the middle of the night and told to move because I was in someone else's site. Office was not open the next day at 10 when we left. Not a good way to run a campground.

Great place to camp when passing thru Pennsylvania. This is a KOA journey but has a lot to offer for kids. Large bounce pillow and a new playground equipment.

So last night me and my fiancé rented a spot for the night to set up our tent to camp out for the night and i was NOT pleased, the whole place stunk like a giant toilet and on the website there is no warning that in order to get to the tent sites there are 2 STEEP hills to get to the tent spot they only warned us when we got there to pick up our map so if you're like me and have mobility issues once you manage to get to the tent platform you better forget getting down to use the rest room because the hill was so steep even with my cane i was afraid i would fall on my face so i just held it in all night. And the large gravel rocks make the super steep hill worse its like trying to climb up on giant marbles, they really should remove them and add smaller gravel or some type of stairs and guard rails. The view was nice from the hill top and the place had a beautiful lake but all in all the place seemed like a glorified trailer park...i like KOA locations but this is the first location i would NEVER visit again. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

We stayed here for two weeks. Unless you're driving a class B, you want to approach the campground from the south (from I-70): it's a hard left on a downhill curve if you come from the north. After passing the entrance sign, watch for oncoming traffic before taking the left fork in the road to pull up to the office. The campground is essentially a small valley. The office building, dumpsters, and propane refill station are on the west hill, the fishing lake occupies the bottom of the valley, and the rest of the campground is situated on the east hill. The long term sites are located in the northeast and southeast corners of the campground. The rest of the sites are arranged into 4 rows of pull-through sites and a half-row of pull-in sites (most of which were wide enough to get the towing vehicle out). The rows are divided by gravel roads, some of which are pretty narrow for two-way traffic. All of the sites have gravel pads with a mix of gravel and grass lawns, a picnic table, and fire ring. Many of the sites in the top third of the rows have one or two trees that provide some shade, while the lower sites have none. We stayed in site 68, which had two trees on the right side of the site that provided some early afternoon shade, and was fairly level. The office building contains a large laundry room with change machine, a small lounge area with a pool table where they stack delivered packages, and a camp store with some convenience store items and souvenirs. The bathhouse on the east hill contains both bathroom and shower stalls. Next to the bathhouse is a large pavilion with several picnic tables and a large grill. Walking down the hill past that pavilion brings you to the communal fire pit area, then the pool area, and the playground. There is also a new jump pad (installed during our stay) and basketball hoop in that same area. On the east side of the lake is a short dock, an equipment shed, and two boats available to rent (a metal canoe and a rowboat). There are two adjacent dog runs located at the base of the east hill next to the entrance road, with an airlock gate. They're not lit, but there is some light from the nearby street light. If the runs are both occupied, you can walk your dog around the lake or next to the grassy horseshoe pits adjacent to the runs. In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 96 Mbps down and 60 up. However, there was a stretch of several days where I couldn't get any internet service...except for YouTube TV service on my laptop (YouTube TV didn't work via the Roku on our TV during this time). It was very strange: it started right after a brief power outage early one evening, then returned to normal several mornings later after a late night power outage. The campground WiFi was solid, with 14 Mbps down and 12 up (we were one site away from a repeater pole). The speed test I ran on my 5G AT&T smartphone showed 77 Mbps down and 3 up. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We stayed one night at this campground on the way home from Michigan. Fascinating to see the reviews as compared to the campground. Registration was fine, Beth is possibly slightly abrupt but she seems very competent. The front drive seems partially repaired from a formerly extensive pothole collection. Hopefully they'll repave the remainder sometime but it's passable. Interesting site because it's on a hill. You could get some exercise walking the hill for sure. Our pull through site is not the largest I've ever seen but everything worked and it has nice grass. Newer picnic table! As someone else said, it's not a destination campsite but I liked it for a short stay. They seem to have a number of seasonal tenants who like it as a destination site. It's small but I'm guessing kids enjoy it a lot through the summer.

It was a nice quiet campground. We arrived after the office was closed. There was only one registration in the bin, but it didn't have a name. I assumed it was for us, but wasn't really sure. Plus, since I booked online, I had already paid, so I wasn't sure what to do with the envelope. There was a slot that said cabin keys, but nothing to state what to do with the envelope. I didn't do anything but take the map and park my motorhome.
