I love this place! I'm not sure why it's received low ratings. The people are nice and very helpful. I haven't had any issues with loud noises, but it is a public place. There's going to be noise from others. That's just the way it is most anywhere. If you want complete silence, I suggest staying home where you can control the noise levels. We've been here before and will continue to come back!

When we pulled in we found the site was filled with dog feces and when asking the office to have someone pick it up it took an hour and several calls and trips to the office before my husband took care of it himself. We have dogs of our own and couldn't even bring them onto the site before this was taken care of. My husband has already said we will not be going there again. This part of our trip was an epic fail.

NOT your typical KOA. The pillow bounce was cool & the pool was nice enough but this is not a suitable place for tent camping; cabin or RV's only. Didn't have fun activities or tractor rides or anything like that; which was surprising being that's is the weekend after memorial day. They were working on the septic system & smelled awful(they still made my poor friend stay next to this horrible sewage stream & told her to make a fire all day to keep the smell away, the back half of the campground should've been closed really) I stayed in a cabin, very nice, but there were active hornets making hives in multiple places on the porch & lots of ants in the house. Really good spot though to watch the kids from the porch. Not many people seem to work there & the place could use some TLC. The store could use a little help too, not much. Over all it was ok for a quick camp trip but not the best koa, surprising that it's even considered one.

This KOA has everything you'd want and need for camping, just hope it's all open. The swimming pool when we went was chained off and closed. The specific spot we were given also want very clean. Because of that, bees were a major issue. The day we put up the tent want so bad, but trying to take it down the next day without being stung was a chore. The tent and cars were covered in bees due to the leftover sugars in the grass and the trees they chose to plant. The trees would drop a sweet substance that the bees were attracted to.

Have enjoyed our stay here. We have no complaints. The staff is very friendly and very helpful if you need them. Has a nice dog park also. Showers were very clean and warm. Would stay here again.
