I, as a rule, never post a negative review. I often will post a good one when the customer service is good or great but if I find the business lacking, I don't review them at all. That being said, the manager of this RV park was the rudest, most sarcastic person I've dealt with throughout the travels in our RV which has been extensive. No one can predict when they will arrive at any facility when traveling on our American highways. Bad road conditions, traffic, RV issues, flat tires, a myriad of things can happen that will cause you to arrive late and many of us who travel in RV's have experienced this. It's common. The majority of RV parks will have an envelope waiting for you with instructions to your site, asking you to arrive back in the office to square any costs, etc., the next morning. If not, they will call ahead to see when you may arrive. Neither of this happened at Middlefork RV park. We were not that late, arriving well before sundown but apparently shortly after the office closed. It matters not. The manager approached us with a scowl when we arrived after calling for directions because the RV park sits in a low spot off the highway with a sign that isn't easily spotted from the road. When we pulled up, his first comments weren't, "Welcome", or "I hope everything is alright", or even just, "Here are your papers to park. Come see me in the morning". This character was annoyed at our arrival time and made it quite clear. Our greeting was, "You're keeping me up!" It wasn't a joke. He was dead serious. I immediately responded with. "Well, we are cancelling the next night with you then. His response was, "Well, you can cancel but you won't get your money back". To make a long story shorter, we left the next morning as early as possible. We did not feel welcome and ate the cost for the day. This guy has no business running an RV park. He's a jerk and I've read other reviews that mirror mine. We may have very well enjoyed the park and the area but his rotten attitude destroyed that for us before we even parked our rig. If you don't want to deal with this kind of sarcasm and rudeness, avoid this RV park.

Nice stop over RV park. Large sites with full hook ups. Sites are gravel but very level. A little pricey for what you get. $58 with Good Sam's discount. Doubt if I'd return.

Overall would recommend. Marcum the property manager is super kind and a wonderful manager. The Rv park does have some year round hook up. Prices are different in the winter than they are in the summer. washroom available with 2 showers and one toilet in men's and same thing for women's. there is also 2 sets of washer and dryer as well as a dish washing station. Right across the way from the Office is the Ping Pong room with a ping pong table as well as some board games. Overall a nice place. sometimes the restrooms are a little dirty and some dog drama but nothing Marcum doesn't deal with!

Great rates if you're looking for a place to park your camper/RV. The park is Good Sam affiliated if you have that card. This is also a place you can go and fill up with water or dump your tanks if needed. Enjoy gold panning at this RV park.

A nice clean little park, fairly priced with a pretty view of the river. Handy to a grocery store and propane. Staff was pleasant.

This is a very well run RV park. The grounds are well kept, and the the surroundings majestic. It's great having a brewery with great beer and food next door. Also next door is the Napa and grocery store....what more does an RV'er need?? We loved the small town of fairplay, just a short trip to get to breckenridge. We will be back for sure. BTW... Verizon works great (LTE), the others don't.

The only disadvantage to Middlefork is that you don't step out of your camper onto a manicured lawn. The management was very outgoing and assisted us with everything we needed. When we return to Fair play, we will stay at Middlefork again. Thanks...

I wanted to stay longer! The water running along each site is a sweet surprise, and one I will think of until we return. Markum was very helpful, and funny. I suggest making your reservations at least 3 days in advance!

Very clean, very nice. We had our windows open to hear the river behind our camper. So peaceful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Awesome park manager! Come pan for gold, go on amazing hikes all around. Sit by the beautiful river and relax. Catch and release fly fishing. There are ATV rentals down the road a bit. It's out and away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Great spot to get away.

Staff friendly and concerned. Maybe the only time in 5 years of RV parks that a staff member came by afterwards to ask me if I like the site. The sites are something like decomposed granite, fine rock, smooth and level. Road is paved asphalt, great condition. Hookups are in good condition as well as landscaping. Nice to shave grocery and restaurant so near. Quiet and dark at night except I think I could hear the water in the nearby creek, nice sound. 30 minute easy ride to Breck (in early June). Fortunately Wifi worked well because my AT&T didn't, even with 5 bars 4G (not LTE). I recommend Middlefork RV Park if you are staying in the area. GPS note. Enter the RV park through the shopping center parking lot. My GPS tried to take me another way.

Perfect place and the right price to dump your sewer and your trash. very friendly and probably would be a nice place but I'm a boondocker. everything you need is on the hill above it that you can walk to - including a great brewery

Mark was a great host! The park has a shower house, restroom, and a washer and dryer if needed. When going into Breckenridge there is a a beautiful drive through the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here.
