Love this place, short bike ride to Campland and Fiesta Island.

Many of the "Rangers" are incredibly rude. Roach, skunk, and raccoon infested place. The monthly rate is more than a mortgage on a 2000 square foot house on a quarter acre in El Cajon. But the shorter term rates are even higher. I have had tools and extension cords stolen from here while I am at work. But instead of keeping the customers property safe, they give the customers a hard time. The staff makes a habit of never being on the same page and there isn't a rule in their handbook that the staff, mostly "rangers," don't routinely break themselves. They will complain about something and agree to a remedy just for a different ranger or staff member to complain about the remedy. There is nothing that these people will not complain about. That is when they aren't telling you what to do or treating you like an interloper or criminal. Not worth the exorbitant cost or the endless parade of headaches and lost property.

Nice campground in a great location on Mission Bay. Friendly, helpful staff and onsite rangers to help with any needs you may have. Safe environment for children to ride and play.

Where do I start? I think “trailer park” trying to be a RV park is where this place is at, definitely NOT a “RV” park…let alone “Resort” Utterly disappointed, I can understand why so many simply park on the street and avoid the near $100 waste of money. I’d venture to say 50% of the occupancy is permanent, moving from site to site with their trash every two weeks to appease the “mighty Rangers” (and yes I’m being facetious) As for the front office, well, depressing is all I can say… Definitely won’t be back.

Why not warm water in the showers?!?! I mean really. I think since it’s outside that it would keep people to a limit. It doesn’t have to be hot. Just warm enough to not catch pneumonia. Broken glass in the parking lots for the trailer. Seen more police lately.

Loved it here! Location was great but still quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially when our site had a broken sewer connection (someone had run over it with their RV or car while leaving). They fixed it ASAP. Loved the walking path which had some amazing sunsets right on the bay. Would definitely come back!

Excellent stay. Steps from the bay with full hookups. Dirt lots are large and I had room to stretch out.

We recently planned a stay here and we will NOT be coming back. The classic spaces are large but connections to the electric and water are very very inconvenient making it difficult to set up your trailer in a logical way. There’s no concrete so expect loose dirt all over yourself, the trailer, your life. The spaces near the trees are not very clean. Honestly, for what we paid we expected more. There’s no amenities for kids, it’s very spread out, it was a mission to find the pool, the staff wasn’t very friendly. They were rushing us out at check out when we had an hour to spare! Like hello! I’m attaching my trailer. Just overall not a good experience.

Celebrated my birthday weekend here at the Mission Bay RV Resort and it was amazing everyone was sooo helpful and kind. Remarkable customer service, I plan to come back with the family and hopefully get a Bayfront and stay a bit longer.

The pool and game room were a blast. Very dusty at camp sites.
