We had such a great stay this past 4th of July weekend! We has spaces 13, 15 & 17. Although i will say 13 is not much of a site or level for that matter but it worked fine for tents. The park staff were super sweet and accommodating. We loved the trees and the little trail behind our spot. This resort has a dog washing station and well heated bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Lee, Becky, and Robin are seriously THE MOST AMAZING HOSTS. They really care about this place. Most days you can find Lee running around fixing things, helping people, and he just generally made us feel so comfortable here. The grounds are IMMACULATE and you will see them out spraying the driveways down to keep the dust down almost everyday. We had an issue with our RV and Lee was right there helping us survive our first year of RV life. The bathrooms are always super clean and tidy and the laundry facilities work great. Showers are also nice! I cannot say enough good things about them and this RV park is what it is because of those three people. Playground facilities are nice and they have doggy poop stations all over! Love love love this place!

This place is amazing. The staff is so polite and friendly. We had originally had reservations to stay at emerald cabins and rv in Trinidad CA. When we arrived after a 15 hour drive, just wanting to hook up our trailer and rest. We come to find out that the site they assigned us was not going to fit our trailer. We then talked to the people in the office, and they did not do anything about it, we ended up leaving and driving some more to end up here in this amazing campground. They were able to accommodate us even though it was a last minute reservation. We are so thankful for that. At the end we ended up at a much better place. This place is truly magical.

This place is truly magical. If you're looking for a campsite nestled in the redwoods this is by far the best. Nice tall, beautiful redwoods and tons of privacy. If you love nature and looking for a campground near everything this was prefect. Smith river is only a couple miles away. There's beach access about 10 minute drive away. Tree's of Mystery was a great place to take the family. A beautiful lighthouse in the city of Crescent City. I was excited about OHV (Off highway vehicles) trails only 8 miles away. Tons of good restaurants and only 13miles from Oregon. The best RV park I've ever been to. They even have a nature walk and dog bath on site. Did I mention it had perfect weather all summer long ranging from 60-80 degrees.

Fun place to RV in the redwoods.

Very nice clean park. Most sites have redwoods all around. Very clean mold free bathroom/shower that are heated. Provided sanitizing cleaner for guests to use in restrooms in addition to cleanliness. Would give 5 stars but when we loved the place and booked a second night online we asked to stay in the same spot. Office staff did not check computer (10:40 am) and made us move by 11 am saying the site was reserved. No one stayed in our previous spot all day or night. A lot of work moving and my wife is disabled. Dusty road was watered but could have used 2 - 3 times as much water. sites are level and pretty accessible. Entry to restrooms was easy. Handicapped shower and restroom need grab bars but did provide room for wheelchair.

We stayed in one of the little camping cabins, VERY quiet area and peaceful amongst the trees. There is a little trail behind the campground that follows a little stream, which was nice to walk on - got to see some stumps and fallen original old-growth redwoods (14 ft diameter), very shaded. Cabin was clean and quaint with little kitchen area with the basics - full size stove and oven, refrigerator, can opener, toaster, coffee maker, glasses, plates, silverware, and basic pots/pans/bowls. Bathroom in cabin was clean, good water pressure. We did not go into the common bathroom area. One side of campground is permanent 55+ mobile homes. Speed limit is a strict 5 mph. Some roads are one-way, so we got a little confused with that. They have a person patrolling the campground throughout the day and night for extra security, which is nice. They told us that there had been some increased criminal activity up in that area from Crescent City and to make sure we locked things up. From campground to Crescent City is about 8-9 miles, easy drive. Overall - peaceful and quiet, clean and comfortable.

First time to the area and SO glad we stayed here. Drove past many less than desirable RV resorts. This is a great hidden oasis with roomy campsites that really make you feel like you are in the redwoods. Campground hosts were kind and helpful. Real and HOT showers. Plus a bunch of fun yard games out for everyone to play. 5 minutes from the coast and a short drive to Crescent City for dinner. Would love to stay here again!

We camped here in April so it wasn’t as busy as during some other months so it was pretty quiet and spacious. The bathrooms were very clean and the heated floors kept it VERY warm. There is a spacious laundry room too. I imagine it gets very busy during the warmer months but even during the April we enjoyed it. The host moved us to a different spot since it rained that night and had a lot of puddles. That was very thoughtful of her. We would come back here.

We camped here in late April, so there were not many other campers. This campground doesn't look like much from highway 101. It sits next to a trailer park. However, once you drive in, you realize you're in paradise. The campground is surrounded by old growth redwood trees. The campsites are large and separated by trees. I didn't hear any noise from the highway. The other campers were quiet. The owners were very polite. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. We would definitely recommend this campground. UPDATE++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We returned for a second visit. When I called and told the lady that I loved the first camping site we had, she looked it up and said the same site was available. I was very happy that she asked. It is the little things in life that make customers happy! Anyways, we had the exact same experience as our last visit. There were hardly any other campers due to the fact that we came in late October. So it was very quiet. Just be forewarned, that if you come in late October, be prepared for rain, rain and more rain! Not their fault. This is a north coast rain forest and it will rain sometimes. There roads here are gravel, so your vehicle may get a little muddy during the rain or dusty during the summer months. Not a problem for us though.
