cool spot that is 600-900 for a big enough space to live

Nice place. No fire pit was a bummer but you can bring a gas one.

What a wonderful place to spend winter. All facilities are excellent. A couple things broke and were taken care of in as timely manner as possible! Dog Run is huge and bags always provided. For the more adventurous there’s miles of hiking trails right out the door. Really A+ all around!

A decent RV park on a steep hillside. Sites are quite unlevel in most areas. Roads are narrow and difficult to drive on in a Class A RV. Showers are clean and have ample hot water. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Ramona Oaks campground with our travel trailer in January . The staff are very friendly & helpful. They keep the campground in tip top shape. Although it is right on Hwy 78, we don’t hear the traffic that much, especially at night. Ramona is a nice town with all the amenities - grocery stores, restaurants, thrift stores. The campground is close to the San Diego Safari attraction and not too far to go to other San Diego beaches & attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly come back & stay again.

What a great trip and great customer service/experience. Upon getting there check-in was easy. She let me know about all the amenities, went over the map and showed me the very basic store (no big deal because if we didn’t bring it then we probably don’t need it). We stayed in spots 18 & 19 that backed up to the pond with ducks. All spots looked giant and level. The overall park is in good shape and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean (didn’t shower in the as we had full hookups but my friend said they were nice, a little dark and had a heater for each shower). We played horseshoes, the kids played miniature golf, didn’t get to see “the ring of fire” but looked fun for sitting around and used the spa (and with a little liquid courage jumped in the unheated pool for about 30 seconds). These were all of the wonderful/fun things we did. ||Now to fully disclose the not so perfect things. ACORNS! Huge cascading California Oaks covered our spot for great shade but - INCOMING! - acorns dropped like I’ve never seen! All night the trailer would get pelted. Not all spots have the giant trees so this review is for our sites by the pond. Next up ducks. These little guys were great to watch and listen to all day until about 4:00 when they leave to roost. Beware because they come back! Early! About 6:00-6:30 they show up and let everyone know it. Road noise was sort of a problem. On the other side of the pond is the winding road to the park and runs all along the park. Motorcycles and other loud cars during the day. It quiets down at night but there are still some noises from the road for those light sleepers.||Heard the coyotes at night in the distance. Didn’t see any but could hear them. No biggie, just keep the dogs on a leash and hang by the propane camp fire. At check-in she told me about turkeys but we didn’t see them.||All in all a great little trip! We’ll definitely be back. Horseback riding is nearby so we want to try that and some wineries that look like it could make for a fun afternoon.

Ramona Oaks RV Resort, is a great place. Very friendly staff who make you feel like family! The facilities are great and you can't help but relax. Its an awesome place to escape the rat race of the city. The town of Ramona is a quaint town with everything you may need.

Stayed for 6 months as our family was awaiting a military transfer. Excellent, caring, and patriotic staff. We truly were treated like family. Pool facilities, restrooms, and play areas were all well-maintained. Great experience. Wonderful staff. Definitely coming back.

The Staff is very polite!! and helpful!! The park is tucked away in the country just outside the friendly town of Ramona. There are many shaded sites and free wi-fi. The pool and hot tub are very nice to relax in. I would recommend getting a Dish to go equipment package if you would like TV. This is a great little place to get away from the rat race.

we are staying here thru our camping club as it is only 40 minutes from San Diego- easy drive to city- resort has a nice big warm pool and hot tub- we asked for a site for DISH reception up on the hill (39) and it worked. Office staff are very accommodating and they have a full rack of local brochures - quiet location but only 10 minutes from quaint town of Ramona
