The place is and beautiful swimming pool is huge. There is also a playground for the kids and miniature golf. But most of all the staff are friendly and accommodating. It is also clean and well maintained. We are definitely planning on coming back again.

Small but beautiful RV resort located in the lap of nature. We went there for camping with a group of six families. Bathrooms, swimming pool and club house are clean and well maintained. Staff was nice and helpful. Grill is available at clubhouse for free. Camp fire is not allowed, you can do it at club house only. Children's play area is also there. Some short but beautiful trails are available. The only thing that I did not like was the sound of road side vehicles during night. One should not book lake side camp sites as they are very close to main road.

The staff and managerial personel are very unfriendly and unprofessional, would not stay again.

Was were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived at the campground. My eight year old daughter was very exited to finally go camping for the very first time. We walked in the office and my daughter picked up a " talking toy " at the front desk. She picked it up out of curiousity like most kids do and pressed the button to hear it talk. The woman snapped at her with a very nasty attitude and told her not to press the button repeatedly. " this woman and her husband manage this campground together " she never had a welcoming demeaner. When you book for six days, you get the seventh day free. She did not want to give us the seventh day until I reminded her it was promised to us and she just said " fine " and adjusted the receipt. As we were entering the site, her husband snapped at me for following behind " too close to my own family members car as I didn't want to get lost. The manager actually chased after my car " screaming and hollering for me to stop " and rudely screamed at me to leave more room. I felt the most in welcome I had ever felt at any campsite. We were promised a long table and we did not have one at all when we arrived. Management is extremely strict and rude, they circle around at least 8 times a day looking for things to nit-pick about. My daughter tried to pet the managers dog and he told her in a nasty tone "don't, touch her!"...she doesn't like kids ". The dog then ran up to her and licked her LOL. They attend every event to make sure you are following every rule as far as noise management etc.and you must walk on egg shells at all times. You have no privacy or Freedom. They love the " power " role and like using there power to be nasty to others. I know rules need to be followed and should not be broken; but this couple are just flat out rude. Tried wishing management a " Good Morning " and told him how my husband had to leave early due to his foot getting infected and he just replied " hmmm, it happens and walked away. " very cold demeaner with both him and his wife, uncaring and heartless. Unpleasant people. Otherwise the campground is beautiful and plenty to do. Just wish they had different management. The people residing there are nice.

OK but we never got the cable tv to work. The staff wasnt very friendly. We had a group of 25 GMC motorhomes there for a hot werkend. The spots with trees were nice.

We reviewed their website and went by the gallery they showed of their miniture golf course needs upgrading. We expected to see a nice course but not. Dog run no grass only dirt. Supposed to be quite after 10:00 p.m. New neighbor's pulled in kids screaming. The nice lady who greeted us was very pleasant when we arrived and when we checked out.

This park is just a gem in the mountains East of Julian. I was a member of Western Horizons RV Resorts when it folded. The park was purchased and the new owners have put a lot of money and time in upgrading the Resort. It is a great park and have many amenities Rv'rs and campers will enjoy.

With the recent rain the inland valley is green and more beautiful than ever. The camp site has a pool and a pond. Large oaks give plenty of shade as well

I wish I could give a ZERO Star rating. This place is not professional. The front desk people are rude, not personable, not friendly and only want your money!! Got there ONE HOUR, and our trailer flooded... since we signed a contract we couldnt get out of paying for the time we wernt there which was 10 days!!!!!!! We had to take our trailer to the repair shop! They are not reasonable and wont let you get out of a contract after signing it within an HOUR! Pretty much your screwed. They only want your money, and you cant talk to anyone there that has common courtesy or good customer service. Old management sucked and so does the new management. I would NEVER stay there again.

Beautiful rolling hills and lots of live oak trees. Staff and management are wonderful and very friendly. Moved here from a park in El Cajon and much more quiet.
