In light of complaints I’ve heard recently I thought that I’d mention this is an absolutely great place to live for those that want to be here as well as a stellar destination to vacation for those traveling. Yes, the freeway can be a little noisy but try staying at the bay or anywhere by the beach in this town and it’ll be even noisier. Talk to Michelle(the best camp host ever) and guaranteed you’d never want to stay somewhere else!

Bad first time stay.....but they greatly improved! Update a year later, management is a lot nicer now and after getting put into a small spot AGAIN, I asked for a bigger spot for the same price and they happily moved me at no extra charge. Update two years later, Michelle has been very helpful and understanding. We now continue to use this park during the winter months. This review started two years ago with a 1 star, they have deserved all five stars from me. Michelle does a great job of managing this park single handedly, she deserves a promotion for the great turn around of this park.

In the year I spent here I always felt very welcomed! The customer service is absolutely amazing. If you plan on staying in San Diego then choose Santa Fe! If you need anything booking wise call Michelle the on site manager, she will take things into her own hands and treat you as if you were family. Michelle made our stay very easy, made paperwork a breeze, and most importantly treated me and my girlfriend with the upmost respect. The maintenance staff (Carl and Ricardo) were very respectful and helped with anything including setting up (for new time rv’ers like our selves) The park has great amenities such as a pool, community room, on site washer and dryers, pool table, air hockey, vending machines, and best of all THE HOT TUB! Last but not least I would like to thank the entire staff for making us feel like family!

I could go to other (cheaper) RV sites but I choose to stay here for the management. I cannot say enough great things about Michelle. Noise: Addressing other reviews' concerns, the site is near the I5. (Pro or Con is subjective so I don't hold the resort to it. For me, the proximity was convenient.) I did not notice the noise until reading other reviews because it became white noise without me realizing. So sure, if you're sensitive to noise than perhaps keep this in mind. I think most won't notice, especially inside of their RVs. Price: Higher than other sites so a consideration, but with this comes the convenience of being able to stay here up to 8 months before having to move again, the amenities (Kitchen, Rec & Fitness Room, Pool, Hot Tub, Enclosed dog run) and the events that the Resort hosts. Strongly recommend the hot tub. Hotter than I expected so bring a drink to hydrate. As of late 2022, approx. $1900ish during the select peak months and I believe around $1400 the rest of the year.

I have been coming to Santa Fe RV park for the last 5years. The park has always been well maintained with flowers and lawn and pool and hotub when you enter. They have a game room and full kitchen available for guests and the maintenance staff are always available to help with any problems . When you enter the office Michelle is there to greet you with a smile everything. She takes the time to email all the guests if there is any news that the guests should know about pertaining to the park. She also made sure that I received a package that was sent to Santa Fe during a break in my stay. I would recommend Santa Fe RV resort to anybody wishing to stay in San Diego with an RV.

Super clean and maintained park! It’s our second year coming and we are booked for next! Staff is excellent! The pool is finally back open along with the club house! Last year they remodeled them during COVID. Big old beautiful trees! Friendly neighbors! Huge dog run! Very dog friendly San Diego! One downfall is freeway noise, but you get used to it and for the price of staying in beautiful San Diego for this cheap price comparison to campland or Oceanside Rv resort I will stay with the noise. Especially with how nice the park is!

Santa Fe Springs doesn’t even deserve a star. We had my birthday trip all planned to stay 3 days at Santa Fe Springs. I am from Arizona and was looking forward to spending some time at the beach. On our trip our fifth wheel tire fell off in Barstow CA. We sat on the side of the road for over 4 hours until the tow truck got there. While sitting there in tears I called Santa Fe Springs to let them know that we would not be there. I talked to Michelle, and she did not have any compassion at all for our safety and said she was going to charged me a cancellation fee. I asked for the manager to call me, but he never bothered to call me either. My RV is still at American Towing and repair in Barstow getting repaired. Now that company is kind and companionate they cares for their customers. I would never stay at Santa Fe Springs and would recommend everyone to stay away from this money hunger non-caring company.

Pricey but for San Diego not all that surprising. Like many other RV parks that allow "living" then allow these residents to live sub par like homeless, there are a few questionable rigs in the park. The amenities are nice and well kept.

Michelle is absolutely the best. Helpful, attentive and always pleasant. She makes the park actually feel like a “Resort”.

Other than a little freeway noise the place is great! Easy access but still a feeling of seclusion. Quiet and clean. The staff is awesome. Michelle in the office works magic on the schedule and always patient with customers (and myself) Truly In the office and the rest of maintenance and security, terrific. Love the new community room. A great place to play pool and air hockey. Michelle has done such a great job cleaning the place up.

The real story, noise noise noise 24/7 right next to the I-5. So no peace and quiet. Also chronically huge inconvenience with the laundry; it requires a cash card that requires deposit and electronic transfer but the machine never works when you need it. Good luck on weekends. There's a pool and hot tub recreational area but had been unavailable for the entire time I was there. It's overpriced but I guess you're paying for the fact that there's always availability and the ability to receive mail.

Ag - I do not ever want to giv an in fair review so here goes - we had a great stay - although felt under a lot of rules and so many e-mails about with something we did and sent to us because we were not complying or someone in the park did not comply- we were unclear of this - the office staff was nice. The pool was out for the entire stay - bummer hope they fix soon be cause when we checked in they said it would be 2 weeks - disappointment. The gym and other serves were there just in a state of construction. The cost to stay- well we went because we booked and compared to the other pakrks Cheap - then the fees and found out we could have stayed at camp land for cheaper - who knew There months of constant traffic from the interstate and the rumbling trains like earthquakes and we like a Orieo non extra stuffing in between - was a loud park - three months of that and it became back ground noise. But for some I could see the problem often I wondered if the washer was on spin cycle - but no a Train The restrooms and bath houses seemed to be clean often although never used and our washer/ dryer combo did our laundry better - but much is expected from a park that seemed to be more than 50 % residents The Dog caught the poison Oak like advertised - at the place that we could unleash him - they had pet space all over but no real dog park - had plenty of fun but pup paid the price. But a lab so shrugged it off. Now that I right this I feel it was not a super great stop - but as there were not many options we felt hostage to all the parks and chuck it up to San Diego and California- it a blessing to leave But all in all we really had zero serious issues just bits of remorse to Price Vs What you get - then come the extra every few you can think of - makes a stay expensive paying extra 75 dollars for a service dog and extra for the Car then the Tax - almost feel scammed by California Laws and lack of parks - not all of us are desperate looking for a place - sad that we accidentally had to stay in San Diego for so long. Anyways a god stop spot but long term it eats at ya a little bit …
