Great campground but very close together. No issues just wish we had a little more space. Campground is very clean and accessible and a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in May, just before the season started. It took us about an hour to get checked in and to our site. The park wasn't fully staffed yet, so we had to check in at the resort across the street and then when we got to our site, someone was already there, so we had to be moved. Also, there was never anyone in the office at the campground. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the maintenance staff is attentive. Most of the washer and dryers work, but keep in mind that they don't have timers. And be aware that the roads in the campground are narrow. Lake Tahoe across the street is beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking trails. The further from the lodge you go on the beach, the less crowded it is. We also saw a bear our first day here! This area is beautiful and we would come back during the season next time.

Great location on Lake Tahoe. RV sites are close together but nice and shady in a grove of ponderosa pines. There's no town nearby so bring what you need. Highlight is the mountain climb behind the park. Small demerit for having no way to get 16 quarters for the laundry room. The shop across the road is cashless.

Clean well kept grounds. Great location with full hook ups. I will return and highly recommend this location. Nightly fees are $67.50 which is very reasonable.

Not great. No wifi, no cable, no TV antenna reception. No bike path to speak of. Too far from town if you don't have a car. Restaurant is simple and over priced. RV sites are small. We're leaving early... two days is more than enough.

I booked 4 nights in April for a 38' class A with slideouts on both sides using the online reservation website. Under "filters", I specified slideouts and chose a site from the available campsites listed. When I arrived, the site had trees so close that I was not able to extend the slideouts. The desk across the street was somewhat helpful in finding a site I could use. The reality is that the online booking website has no idea the characteristics of the individual sites so you may book a site that does not work for your equipment. The lady across the street at the resort does not really know the individual sites either. Good luck booking a site. Also, no cable TV anymore.

The campground was sparsely occupied given the season. We arrived late but we already had an assigned site so everything went extremely smoothly, and we were very happy with our experience.

We love camping here in the winter and early spring! There are very few other campers, especially on weekdays. I can’t speak for the facilities as we have our own, but the hookups (water & electric) work well, as does the wifi. The location is great: Lake Tahoe is across the street and it’s a quick drive to the Nevada side of Heavenly. It’s also close to shopping, restaurants, and casinos without being in the hustle & bustle of South Lake Tahoe or Carson City. My only complaint is litter and dog poop, but I blame other campers for that. We adhere to the campsite rule “leave it better than you found it” and wish others were as conscientious.

Noisey tourists in monster RV's are hilarious on the ice! Now made worse with DOUBLE fees! What a (terrible) difference a day makes. Cancellation fees are worse now. Fees to book online, with the app or in person. Too bad. :~(

Very nice campground. Great location. Hardly anyone there. Will be back!

Lovely. Easy access to Lake across the street. The campsites further from the street are quieter.

I've stayed at Zephyr Cove over the past few years and have loved my experience every time. Unfortunately this time, they changed management about 4-5 months ago and not all the employees are too friendly. They also now charge you to park at the cove across the street even as an camper. Still a very nice campsite, one of the best you can stay at on Tahoe, but the atmosphere isn't the same. Nonetheless, don't let that stop you from enjoying what Zephyr Cove has to offer.
