Excellent place for camping in alot of trees clean and nice. 5min walk to the lake. I seen that people complained about the phone and wifi not working. I had no problem. If you need wifi and phone all the time go get a room somewhere else. And don't go camping to get away from it all to rest and relax.

This is a really nice campground just across the street from fantastic lake Tahoe views. Get a site on the edges, not the middle and you will have nice privacy.

I’m not sure I fully agree with (what seems like) the majority of the reviews written. We stayed here three nights and didn’t feel like the sites were too close at all. I will say that most of the people staying here had these huge 45’ charter bus type motor homes that have a million slide outs. I can see why those people would feel more “tight” but people with more reasonably sized campers shouldn’t feel like this. The bathrooms and showers are individual rooms, so that part is nice. But the toilets are the aluminum type like in a prison haha so sitting on those was unsettling. But they do provide seat covers for you. They’re also not the cleanest showers I’ve ever been in but they were certainly clean enough to use. And nice and hot with great water pressure! Parking at the campground office, then walking across the busy street to check in at the general store is so ridiculous, especially because there’s an office AT the campground (that is unused). I asked at the store why this is and they said they changed it to this procedure during COVID and just have never changed it back.

✅The accommodation was good, the showers and toilets were clean, the nature was great. 👎🏼However, the experience with the staff was extremely unpleasant. The pink-haired manager insulted me and spoke rudely. When I was making check out, I drove up to the main road, parked car on the right side before traffic light and turned on alarm button. I got out of the car to see if I had blocked anyone. A female manager with pink hair approached me. I asked her: good afternoon, miss. Can I leave this car for a minute with alarm button? She said: sit in the car and get out of here. I asked: why are you answering me so rudely? She said: I don't care, get in car and get out of here. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Then for a long time she shouted something after me. I don’t understand what happened to her. May be she need medical help?

Stayed 3 days in campgrounds around tall pines. Across the street is hotel and cabins and also sand beach area. Paddle wheeler boat tours and dinner cruises. Rental od many different watercraft. Charge for parking in day use. Bar on beach along with small store. Located in Nev about 3 miles north of Stateline. Only negative is there is no cell internet service in this area on Verizon. Phone works but no internet. In these modern times and on a major highway with large population you would think someone would upgrade service.

Poor communication and management at this overcrowded campground. Check in required pulling into a traditional check in lane as indicated by the signage then find out you must cross a 4 lane road to check in…while your rig is in a line out into the street. Speaking with “Al” the manager…was like talking to a pine cone. His reply was simply they didn’t have enough staff to operate both places. Ok, I understand that is the world we live in, but also in that world we have 2 very efficient ways to communicate…email me or text me the process so I can get out of the way and expedite the interaction. I thanked one of the very nice campground attendants who used common sense and asked each camper to go to their site and then go check in! Brilliant. I asked why that wasn’t SOP in times like this…you know a plan B? Eyes rolled and said…great question…our management team doesn’t seem to understand the simplicity of it. 3 of us are traveling together..and all three of us were placed rear bumper to the 4 lane. The absolute WORST camping experience ever. These sites shouldn’t be offered….in fact they should create a buffer zone as the rest of the campground is nice…but TIGHT. Like really tight. Tahoe is beautiful…this campground is convenient to much. But it’s noisy and tight…and management needs training.

Sites are very tight and on top of each other, Don't expect the cable to work, so if you don't have all your amenities working then you should reduce the price or fix them! No wifi, our table was in the back and couldn't even put a table or chair on our door side of our camper because it's a hill! At least we were away from the crowds! Just understand what you are getting, it close to beach and lots of trees, my ATt 5g works but my husband phone did not don't know why, maybe because it's an older phone?

The RV park has beautiful old growth pines everywhere. The access to Lake Tahoe is super convenient and you can walk there easily. The RV spaces are extremely tight though. If your rig is more than 30 ft be ready to weave in and around pine trees. Because the park is used heavily, there is lots of dust and dirt on the road and sites. There's sparse gravel. Don't plan on your Wi-Fi or satellite working very well because of the trees blocking the view to the satellite. It's a communications "black hole". The Wi-Fi and cable provided by Zephyr Cove are very weak and sporadic if even there at all. Not sure if we will be back.

With regards to the campground: You make your reservation and do not know your campsite until you show up. We arrived later in the night to a camp site that was hardly large enough to be called so. It was directly on top of the neighbors and had minimal personal space. Reserve with caution and I would not recommend this as a campground. I will not return.

We stayed here with a camper. The reason to stay here is if you’re looking to stay on a beach (we were here in July and it was not a relaxing beach, young party crowd) when checking in we had to cross the street to resort reception. The Wi-Fi was non-existent, which was unfortunate because it sits in a dead cell area. They also pack the campers in like sardines, if you have a large camper it’s going to be tight getting in and out of your spot. Showers and bathrooms were nice. Otherwise it really is a nice location.

A nice and clean campground. We spent 3 wonderful days. Clean showers and toilets, all very well maintained. Beautiful Lake Tahoe is just a few steps away. Zephyr Cove Resort offers many activities. Beach, Restaurant and Bar are also available. We will come back one day.

Really poor customer service. For $100 per night, you start by checking in at the campground and then have to cross a busy 4 lane road to checkin at the general store to just give your credit card. Wood for fires ($12.95 per bundle) needs to be purchased at the general store and then carried back across the 4 lane road to your site. Workers are going back and forth in golf carts but were unwilling to transport the wood. WiFi is almost non existent. No cell service with Verizon. Sites are level mostly and in wooded area Bathroom and showers are not heated and are about what you would find at a state campground. No shower curtain. No toilet bowl seat. Mostly clean. Beautiful cove across the street. Great location to explore Lake Tahoe.

If you have an rv over 21feet don’t come here. I’ve trailer camped for years and this has to be one of the most awful parks I’ve stayed at. The roads are terribly narrow, the roads markings are faded to the point ya can’t see most of em, the spots are slim, my recreation area isn’t even on the right side. Why would I want to sit at a picnic table and have a fire right next to the sewage hook up? For the amount this place costs a night I’d absolutely skip it and take my chances elsewhere.

This is top two of the worst campsites I’ve had in the last 3 years. What’s the point in giving your length of your trailer if the resort crams you into a site that barely fits your RV? I told the guys at check in this RV site was horrible and explain but wasn’t even entertaining the statement. They were unorganized at check in, oh and our site was almost impossible to get into due to the angle and trees and electrical boxes in the way. Many of the tenants on the property were even shocked we could get our RV into the spot and noted how difficult it was. If you have a 30ft bumper pull trailer in site 182, GOOD LUCK. This place is a joke. Oh and your fire pit ring is on the hookup side, which is sitting just underneath our slide out, while your neighbors get to enjoy your living side with their fire pit on their hookup side as well.

No our favorite place. The RV lots are set in the trees, very nice, with water, sewer and electric. There is WiFi but we never found it, the employees we talked to said it never really works. There is TV but it cuts off and on and changes channels when it comes back on. The lots are gravel based. We had no cell reception on either Verizon (Xfinity) or T-Mobile. If the Wi-Fi had worked it wouldn't have mattered. You check in at the RV desk but are then sent across the street (walking) to really check in. The street is a 4 lane busy busy highway. The crosswalk light does come on quickly. We were going to stay for 2 days but cut it to one day because I needed to work online.
