I came to Lake Tahoe in winter, and the public camps were closed. I booked Zephyr Cove RV Park and Campground. The environment is good, the pine wood is big and high, and the temperature is only 30 F at night. Think about the coin-operated bathing, imagine the past Experience, the cold water is unbearable. After I went to the bathroom, I found that it didn’t require any coin, and it was warm, and the water was hot and comfortable. This was the most comfortable hot bath I had ever taken in a campsite and gave him five stars. .

Do not waste your money! Everything is over priced and the service was beyond a joke. After I wasted all my laundry money on broken washer machines. I was told by management that I was welcome to drive down the hill to get money (quarters) for her business. It’s not my responsibility to supply change for your business. I have left emails and complaints about my experience but my complaints have fallen on def ears. There are so many better places to experience Lake Tahoe. Do yourself a favor and find a better place.

We loved our stay here. The campground is beautiful, clean and peaceful and it is straight across the road from the lake. Definitely recommend.

When I called to make the reservation the lady messed the date up and I didn’t realize until I received an email wanting to review my stay. I called and was on the phone for 90 mins waiting for the rep to fix it. She said it took so long because they pulled the call to make sure it was their error and not mine. She apologized for the error and said she upgraded me to a premium site since it was their error. We pulled in around 9:30 and had a very difficult time locating our site. When we did someone was parked in it from a different camp site. The gentleman quickly moved his car and was apologetic. I reserved a pull through site. There are no pull through sites that we saw. This was definitely not a premium site! We had to back our RV in and it was a disaster. The campers are on top of each other so you have to inch your way forward and back to make it in your spot. The campground is not near water or the beach just FYI. I gave it 2 stars because it was pretty with the big tall trees . I would not stay here again.

If you’re looking for a place just to base camp while you go out and adventure around the lake this is probably OK. Some of the sites are really tight and close together it would be challenging for a novice backer up to get into a couple sites . If you have one of the sites close to the highway the noise from vehicle traffic starts in the morning and goes all the way through the evening. So don’t expect peace and quiet. Restrooms and showers certainly need some maintenance. The office is closed because of “Covid” so check in is at the store. There is no in person reservations available has to be done online. The public beach is conveniently located right across busy Highway 50. The beach is it supposed to be very crowded on nice days on the weekends. I think bottom line is it all depends on what your expectations are.

We love this campground.. the only reason to give it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it is REALLY tight for larger rigs... That just makes it a little stressful to get in your spot and set up. But the location is great, we had the best time walking across the street to the beach.

The RV park has nice views and great proximity to the lake. The bathrooms and showers need to be updated and cleaned. Pretty much disgusting and not cleaned regularly. The cable hook ups they provide, at least in our site, were horrible. Static and snowy picture. They're are nicer RV parks in the area for the same cost. Unsecured, extremely slow wifi leaving you open to multiple other compromising issues as well.

We had a great week at Zephyr RV park. Despite a poor laundry situation it was lovely. Beautiful campground directly across the street from an awesome beach. Lots of younger people having a good time with friends. Stayed in site 184. Would definitely come back!

We camped one night here. The campgrounds and facilities were pretty standard. The group in the site next to us was playing loud music until after 2am. I walked down to the office and used the “after hours” phone to report it. That system is a joke. It tells you to leave a message. No one did anything to help. Barely slept that night. Also, when checking in, the individual who appeared to be the manager was pretty rude to us, as well as the employee who was helping us.

Great location but they have got to get rid of their outside reservation company. Be prepared to have a spot you can’t get into, we watched upset people all weekend walk back and forth to change their site. When you book include total size and some. And bring you patience hat at check in, you will be behind people trying to change spots. Good luck. They really should move reservations internal to the people who understand the park.

Loved the location! Spent only one night but had a great time. Some campgrounds are right by the lake but most are across a road which is a short walk. The camp sites are a little small but the grounds were nice. The bathrooms nearest our campsite were closed due to COVID so we had to take walk to the bathrooms nearest the office which weren’t busy. I liked that every bathroom/shower was it’s own entity.

I do not recommend. Pull through reservation was changed to back in, but the worst part was that the backing site is something like 20-30 feet from a 45mph road on a hill (cars revving), so it's VERY loud. There are no obstacles (trees) between the road and the site. I was uncomfortable letting my kid roam on the campground too :-( The city campground is a better choice, imo. I know that there are some sites in the back, they may be better, but i did not have a choice when booking.
