Beautiful RV park tucked in tall trees right off of highway 50. We had a 40’ pull through site which was plenty of room for our 32’ trailer and truck. We loved that each site had a large fire pit! Easy access to the lake (across the highway through a crosswalk) and walking/biking path.

The camp sites are pretty good, but if you want a great site, get the sites that are in the back. You won't hear any of the traffic on the highway. The other reason it's getting only three stars is because there's no way to check in at Zephyr Cove when you arrive. Due to covid-19, you have to park and then walk across the street on the Lake side to check in and then walk all the way back. Restrooms and showers we're very clean every day we were there, which is always a plus, and the people were very friendly as well.

I stayed here for 6 days on a family camping trip. The weekend days were a little loud at night but you'll have that at a campground. The people who rolled up late on our last night there were particularly obnoxious but that's not really the campgrounds fault. The campground is across the street from the lake . We stayed at the walk in sites which were at the top of a hill all the way at the back of the campground. Our site was probably a quarter mile or so from the beach, downhill going and up coming back. Luckily we were at one of the sites that was fairly close to our truck, probably about a 100 yards. Some of the walk in sites were pretty far back and up a pretty steep hill to drag all your gear up. Bathrooms and showers were reasonably clean. All in all I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Sorely disappointed. Had to check in on the other side of a busy highway at the lodge. walk-in sites that are a terrible uphill slog from the parking area. No quiet time enforcement. No fire ban enforcement. For what we paid, we were told we would still have to pay $25 for day use parking In addition to our camping fees in order to go to the beach. On our second day, the lodge was closed so we couldn't buy ice for our coolers. At the end of our visit, when we reflect on the cost/value we would not recommend this campground.

Way understaffed, and packed to the gills. 3/6 bathrooms out of order is unacceptable when you are at capacity. However, the proximity to the beach makes all the difference. Loved that we could see the water from our camper in spot 154. Trees were too close together, so we couldn't put out our awning and be ready to have lifters, because the sites aren't level. In spot 118 we didn't have access to our fire ring because of the placement. This is the most expensive place we've stayed all summer, but not the nicest. It's all about location and being close to the beach. There are some hike in sites at the back, if you want a woodsy camping experience that's not in desolation wilderness, I would recommend that, but it's quite a walk to the beach from there. I'd say the nicest spot for a rug is 190.

This is a great and beautiful campsite with full hook-up, ideally located for Zephyr Cove Resort and Lake Tahoe. Make sure you get a pitch at the back unless you like the noise of the main road! The reason for the score of 4/5 is that the WiFi is absolutely rubbish. We had no connection on our pitch and really there was nothing other than right by reception which was a long way from our site. Even then, it kept cutting out. Also, the communication from the staff in reception was poor. There was no information about what to do to check out before 10am in the morning when they opened! Yes, 10am. We had to work out that we needed to go quite a way and across the busy main road, to the lodge. Also, there were limited trash sites, a long way from our pitch and the recycling site was the other side of reception. We would go back though!

Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and marina, and had lots of beautiful mature trees for shade. Large, clean bathrooms. However the RV spaces were small and really packed in close to each other. Everyone had to use leveling blocks in their spaces. We were attending a family reunion and had requested 4 spaces next to each other a full year in advance, but that was not granted, so disappointing.

Very well kept RV park. Amazing location just across from the lake. There are a few trails to hike leading out of the non-lakeside of the park. The shop is very basic so better to shop before arrival. RV pitches are large and well kept. Really nice camp in general. One of the best we saw on our trip.

First time visiting this RV park. We would consider it fantastic. Just across the street from Lake Tahoe. Within walking distance of a restaurant and about a half a mile from Safeway. Would certainly recommend and will most likely return. Super clean park.

Great place to camp out and stay a few days! We loved the campground and ease of getting to places all around tahoe. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome RV park with full hook-ups, beautiful location with a restaurant, general store, beach, rentals, tour boat across the highway. Also have airstreams on site to rent. Good location in South Tahoe you can head either direction and see everything Tahoe has to offer within 1 hour drive. 1 piece of advice, not all sites are level so be prepared with wood or blocks etc. Also, there are amazing tent sites at the back of the property.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. Would have been a nice experience to stay there if we hadn't been double billed for both nights we stayed there. Once they get your credit card number at checkin, they help themselves to your card any time they want, authorized or not. The last billing took place after we were already home. The worst part though is the way staff handled the situation when we brought it to their attention. The campground cashier was very rude and condescending, rolling her eyes at us like a child and repeatedly denying there was a problem no matter what evidence we provided to the contrary. Had to demand a manager to get any help resolving the issue. After all of this, the campground double billed us again the next morning. Finally got my refund for the double billed portion a week later after multiple calls and emails. No other compensation was offered to correct our experience. These people obviously don't care if you have a pleasant experience.

Love it here! Just beautiful! We were in site 162 in a 38 ft fifth wheel. This was our second time here. Peaceful. Well kept. Nice people. Love walking my dog around. It is really pretty ! So convenient to every thing on South Lake Tahoe! Can't wait to come back! But now please forget that you read this because I don't want it to get too crowded!

Great place to camp. Either in RV or tent. Reasonable prices, wifi, showers, bathrooms, well maintained, clean. Friendly, welcoming service. But, book early. Fills up quickly, and stays full, all summer. Very close to lake front, can see the lake from most sites. We come back every summer.
