We had to cancel a reservation. After being put on hold for 10 Minutes, we were told we would have to pay a “$20 fee” for cancelling our reservation, which is 2 months and 2 weeks away. After taking the rv across the country, both north and south, and back up around the west, we have NEVER paid a fee simply for cancelling. This wasn’t a late fee, obviously. And being put on hold for 10 minutes at an RV camp? Sorry, but this wasn’t the Four Seasons…do better, Tahoe):

No one at campsite office. Called and asked if I could get the site number, and the lady answered ABSOLUTELY NOT! She didn't even think about it or pause, went straight for the answer, and said I could cross the street by foot. She was just rude. Then I got to the office, and guys were slow, taking their sweet time. Then I had to put a security deposit for accidental like it's a hotel room. I've been to 12 states and hundreds of campsites, and this was a first. After driving for hours, I got to the site and received like that was a huge disappointment and just set us in a bad mood. What's the big deal? Just tell someone the campsite number, let them settle down, then come check in. Plus, there were no updated signs on where to go. Would I go back? I don't know, I would try elsewhere first.

If you like full service camping in sky-high pine trees, across the street from one of the most beautiful lakes you'll ever see, then this is the place. Staff is friendly and helpful, lots activities and fun things to do. Very clean, restrooms, showers and laundry room. You'll love it and the prices are very fair. Sites are asphalt with fire pits/rings, food in the restaurant is good. Nothing negative to say about this park.

The RV Park is beautiful if not a little messy. It is in a forest of ponderosa pines. The rv spots are crammed in kind of helter skelter and very small spaces. We reserved a pull through and there was enough space for our 34 foot rv plus jeep towed. However, there are no employees at this park and the office seems to be permanently closed. We had to cross a busy highway to check in with a company that only handled that. They knew nothing about the park itself. They just checked you in and gave you your space number. There were tents in the rv spots and some pretty noisy people here and there, and a lot of campfires and smoke. We did, however enjoy our stay even with these little things. The lake was right across the street with a dog beach beginning on the right side of the docks. We did a lot of walking and really enjoyed the scenery. There is a Safeway a couple of miles away and I recommend Casey's restaurant right next door. Very nice. We stayed 6 days and enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful visit and the location is perfect for getting to POI’s and hiking. Having the beach across a busy road is strange, but the walk sign turns within one minute - very cool! The road is noisy all night - like camping in the city. On the downside, we found the sites too cramped. We have enjoyed spacious sites all summer. I was amazed at how “uneven” many of the site lots were, including ours. I saw way too many RV’s with both front wheels in the air or jacked way up on one side. Why can’t people level sites when building? We notice on the busy weekend our water pressure was low - that’s not good. And come on - it’s 2022 and no Wi-Fi!!! I am a retired IT guy, it’s not that hard!! Why are campers leaving there lights on? Midwest and east coast sites require “dark” at 10pm. Overall we enjoyed the trip - just need to pay attention to some of the details.

Wow, I saw mixed reviews and I'm sure some are valid...but my Experience was wonderful! I reserved a spot about a month ahead and they gave me my exact spot when I arrived. Hook ups all worked I had fresh cold water, sewer, and 50amp power. Our space came with a picnic table and a BBQ ground fire pit combo. Laundry facilities worked great. Absolutely beautiful site I felt like I was in the Sequoias. We were walking distance to Zephyr Cove, we rented a boat and had a blast for the day. When we came back to rest the place was peaceful and this is when it was packed... so packed I couldn't extend my stay, but I knew it was time to head home and let others enjoy this beautiful camp.

We were super excited to come stay at the RV campground for our 6 night stay, but unfortunately the standard site we were assigned is terrible. The site is on a slope so the fire pit and the picnic table are slanted. Our group is unable to site around the fire ring. We are unable to put our stairs our properly and the last step ends where the slope begins. We tried two times to get another site (standard or premium) but were told there was nothing available. Supposedly you can't reserve a specific site for standards yet there are standard sites opening up as people are leaving today so to me, it seems like the staff is just unwilling to accommodate a site change. This site could be improved with correct grading, but it's clear it's not a priority for the owners. Lastly, even though our site is not a highway site, it's still extremely close to highway 50 and you can hear road noise all day and night. I don'trecommend this campground especially for the price.

Overly priced and everyone was on top of each other. We had the last RV spot before the tent camping and there was a truck parked in our spot when we got there. He was a tent camper that was unloading his stuff. We called the office multiple times, but no one answered. We had to wait for half an hour for the guy to return and move his truck. No apologies and he didn’t even look in our direction. The tent campers have to park down in the parking lot and walk their stuff up this steep hill. There’s an unloading zone, but it’s busy. We witnessed a female camper cussing and yelling at an older security guard in a golf cart. They had been parked in the loading zone for awhile and he asked them to move their car. She started yelling at him (many children around hearing this), then accusing him of saying things he definitely did not say. We did not feel safe here and it was way too expensive. We won’t be coming back.

Great fantastic place to stay with all hook ups and showers that had nice hot water . Walking distance across the street to the Tahoe beach front . There are 2 areas one no pets and the other side for pets . My family had a great time for this being our first time traveling in a RV .

Nice park, sites are really tight but the amenities on the property are excellent, and the lake is a short walk away. Lots of kids, so definitely family friendly, had an errant football hit the side of my rig, no damage, but there were kids throwing it on the roadway, that's how packed the sites are. I'd come again for sure, location is superior.

What's not to love? This place has it all and the staff is pretty amazing! You should go there but book in advance. They get full very quickly. Cabins and rv park are clean and great spot sizes.

When we went camping, we had a beautiful time. Water was readily available, bathrooms were pretty clean and close by, and the walk to the water front was so convenient. I like how you can walk out to he group camp areas and it's accessible. When we showed up, there was someone in our campsite but when we reached out to the staff, they just told us to use a different site so they could send someone over to the original site. Super accommodating.

Good: Location: super close to town Price: paid $43 for full hook ups Bad: Grounds are not well maintained, at least in the winter. Dumpsters are full and trash outside. Campsites have trash in them as well. Haven’t seen anyone on the grounds etc.
