Excellent location right outside Mesa Verde National Park. This is a great campground. Not fancy, but well kept and with lots of amenities. This is the kind of RV park I loved to stay at when I was a kid. They have a pool, playground, mini-golf, horse shoes, a rec room with movies, pool table, fooz-ball (table soccer), board and card games, 2 dog parks, and more. Everything is pretty old but they keep it up. And the staff was very helpful and friendly. We showed up late, around 9:30 and they guided us to our spot and let us use the hot tub past regular hours which was appreciated after a long day of driving.

We had shade, well-maintained, pool and hot tub. The showers were very clean. I was very happy with this site. Much better option over dry camp at the national park.! you definitely want electric for this national park.

This is a super cute campground that is quite literally at the entrance to Mesa Verde Park. The sites are very well cared for while still maintaining the integrity of the nature around them. The store is well stocked, laundry room is meticulously maintained. The pool is super clean . The jets on the hot tub are fairly weak but it is very clean and still a lovely spot to relax in. We had a blast on the mini golf course in the evenings. This place is a great little spot to relax and enjoy while waiting to head into the park or into Mancos.

My family and I have been to so many different campgrounds over the years and this one was the worst one I've ever seen. When we got there the place was filled with signs that basically said children couldn't do anything or only registered guests can do this. They also advertise putt putt but they had a tree that hung over one of the holes 2 feet off the ground making it almost impossible to play. As we got there a thunder storm was coming in making us uncomfortable setting up a tent. When we asked about switching to a cabin she told us it was a 2 night minimum and didn't even ask if we wanted to pay for 2 nights even though the cabins were completely empty. We ended up asking if we could car camp and she was very hesitant to even let us. When we got to our site it was so uneven and unmaintained that we couldn't even set up a tent if we wanted. There was also barely any gravel and with the rain car camping was a no. Even though we couldn't stay there because of the conditions she refused to give us a refund even a partial refund. As we were leaving with no place to stay she started smirking. We had to sleep at the Loves because everything else was booked. I'm am very disappointed, avoid this place at all cost.

We chose to sleep in the Love's parking lot instead. Worst campground I've ever seen, and I tent/car camp 3-5 weeks a year throughout the country. We had a tent reservation. It was storming when I arrived, so I asked about just sleeping in the car instead since it would be muddy. We get to our site and it had not been mowed and the weeds were not trimmed. The gravel was not kept up either. It was on a hill with no place to park and put up a tent, if we wanted to. I'm fine with not perfectly level, but this was a hill. The picnic table wasn't level either, so cooking was out. I looked in the community room, since I needed to work, and the door was wide open allowing bugs and mosquitoes in. I asked about switching to a cabin, and was told there was a two night minimum, even though all appeared vacant. No refund even though it's not as advertised. Tent and car campers should avoid at all costs. We're way more comfortable sleeping in our car at Love's than here. ETA: Not a duplicate review. My 14 year old daughter also reviewed from her account, because she was so upset

Great campground and reasonably priced. Well kept and friendly. Excellent location, literally right across the highway from mesa verde park entrance. They have mini golf, 2 huge fenced dog areas for agility and to play, pool, hot tub, huge kids playground. Really nice, we had a great stay!

From the road, this place doesn't look like much, but it definitely delivers on a variety of amenities. Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Mini-Golf, Kids Park, Dog Park, and great bathrooms with showers, sinks and toilets. It is right across the highway from the Mesa Verde Visitors Center and only 5 miles from Phil's World Mountain Biking Area. Our family with children had a great time staying here and will be back if we are ever in the area again.

This place is absolutely magical! If I could rate higher I would! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are always perfect and clean and there’s so much to do here! We will be coming back as often as possible!

Great location being right next to the National Park but gets 5 stars from the start. Office guy was nice and friendly! Wanted some fire wood and they offered to deliver it!!! Wow and we took advantage of that. Workers are friendly and say hi or wave when they see you and are always making sure things are good. Only down is sites could use some TLC but our overall experience was GREAT

The location for this site is excellent - being only 0.4 miles from the visitor center is amazing. |We were not overkeen on this site. |Sorry but the narrow pitches in Standard pitches mean it’s almost impossible not too close to your neighbours ( I notice others have said this in 2019) Fortunately ours were quiet and did not have huge RVs. On arrival we did not know where to enter, there are so many signs telling us what NOT to do and once we had checked in we were handed a ‘Rules and Regulations’ leaflet instead of a welcome and had to run the gauntlet of signs everywhere. It would be good to have a sign saying ‘Registered campers welcome here’s instead of the ‘Only registered campers may use this ….’ We decided not to use the pool etc as it looked crowded and used our own BBQ as the nearest fire pit was too far distant from our pitch.

A conveniently located campground. Sites are pretty varied, so look through before booking. Some Sites are pretty narrow for smaller rigs and those without slides, other sites can accommodate RVs with slides, etc. They have cabins and tent Sites as well. Across US 160 from Mesa Verde and still close to Cortez if you need to go to the store. There is a small store with the office on-site. They also have a pool, hot tub, playground, mini golf, and dog parks. I love the night sky rules of the park, so turn those outside lights off and enjoy the stars.

We loved this place! Easy access to national park and easy, level sites. Their amenities made the stay so much better! Putt putt, volleyball, giant floor checkers, horseshoes, rec room with foosball and pool, giant dog park, and swimming pool with hot tub. Can't say enough good things about this park, will definitely stay there again if we're in the area!!

Can't get a better location if you're visiting Mesa Verde. It's a stones throw from the park entrance. The campground is very professionally run & kept very clean. We didn't get a chance to use the amenities but they looked great and I was kind of regretting I didn't book an extra day just to relax and hang out by the pool

Great place to stay while visiting Mesa Verde National Park. Located right across the highway outside the entrance to the park. Quiet, large site with plenty of room to park. We had a premium site at the top of the hill with an awesome view. Also it is a dark park so you don't have everyone leaving bright outdoor lights on all night. You can see the stars! Make sure you spend at least 2 nights here so you have an entire day to see Mesa Verde, and maybe 4 corners (about 50 miles).
