Neighborhood is considerably large and being new to the RV life I would have to say that so far it seems like a regular suburban neighborhood rather than seasonal vacationers. They have a curfew at 10 for quiet time which is fine. 3 places on the compound for laundry and to shower if needed. Neighbors and staff are friendly and pretty cheap per month considering inflation. I don't have any negative comments about this RV resort so far and I've been here for about 2 weeks now. For now, I give this place 2 thumbs up 😁👍👌

Alot of shaded areas, activities, close to all attractions and beaches. I have had the pleasure to have met so many couples and families from all over the country and Canada who have been coming to me to get their hair cut for 15 years! They love it so much they keep coming back 😇

What a great location foe camping. We were near the river for a quiet kayak yet only minutes to dining and grocery shopping. The sites were roomy and the bathrooms were immaculate. Had fun at yoga and water aerobics. Its located near the beaches as well as downtown Tsmpa.

I Love it here! It’s very clean and very well taken care of. The staff in the office and the staff that work the park are friendly and very helpful!!! The restrooms and showers are immaculate and the laundry areas are clean and well maintained! I appreciate there focus on customer service, park maintenance and security very much!!! As an example, I forgot to take my charging cord into my trailer so at 12:30am I went out to my truck to get it and when I came out of my truck, security was right there making sure it was me in my truck… That was awesome!!!

Bay bayou is unfortunately not a laid back Rv Resort far from it. I've lived there for about 8 years before deciding to work for the park for 4 years and was forced to quit due to circumstances beyond my control by management. They say they care about their long term residents which I was and employees but their actions speak far from the truth. They wouldn't even guarantee me a spot after they decided to let me go because I was being honest and too vocal about my own opinions which everyone is entitled to. After four years of hard work and dedication to the Resort they wouldn't even offer me a place to stay which is very sad. Don't find out the hard way like I did that they really don't care!

Bay Bayou is beautiful, great location and super friendly. The best part of Bay Bayou is the staff. The women who work in the office are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The grounds crew do a fabulous job keeping the park beautiful.

Me and my family absolutely loved it here. Everyone is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The staff is absolutely great and the park is gorgeous. Tons of events to attend weekly and bbq's. The facilities were also very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property. One of my favorite places to repair rv's at. Always a place I personally recommend. The people staying there tell me they have activities all the time. Some of the retirees say this place always has something for them to do. Lots of neighbors know each other and hang out for golf, go to dinner together, bike ride, kayak. If I decided to move my RV, this is one of the main parks I would choose from.

I don't know why this resort has anything short of 5 stars! Large spaces. Immaculate grounds. Clean facilities. Heated pool. Full hookup. Safe and quiet. Close to shopping, beaches, restaurants, and small towns to explore. All at a fair price. A big thank you to the employees who work so hard to provide a awesome vacation for their guests! We will be back!

Very clean and maintained campgrounds. Friendly,spacious parking for RV and personal vehicles,shaded sites,can bring battery operated golf carts. Pets allowed in park on walking leash with dog poop bags along perimeter. Very reasonably priced and would highly recommend. Handicap accessible

I tried booking a site for a month and was told they have a 15 year maximum age policy. I asked if I could show her a picture of my coach and she said sure but I can’t change the policy. I get my coach is older but it still looks great, has low mileage and is well taken care of. Most parks have flexibility and will require pictures to make a final decision, I’m surprised to find out this is a hard and fast rule for them. It's also worth noting that this policy does not appear on the guidelines page of their site.

Excellent campground. Very clean and well maintained sights. Pool was very nice and not crowded. Very friendly staff. Wi-Fi gets 2 out of 5 stars but you do get free cable channels. Laundry machines by main building need upgrading. Quiet park great for a long stay or just one night. We would definitely stay here again

I stayed here for the month of July 2021. I was alone as my family had to go back home, while I was working in the area and I always felt safe. This is practically a gated community, with a keypad entrance. ¾ of the people who are here are residents who work in the area also. This resort has a very nice pool area and while I was here they even had a 4th of July party for everyone(they supplied the meat, everyone was asked to bring a side). I walked the campground several times and was never bothered, and everyone was friendly. They had docks for fishing and even a kayak launch. The bath houses I used every night and they always looked and smelled clean. The maintenance crew is always riding around on their golf carts and are always visible, and many of them lived here so I imagine they also keep the trouble out and are very friendly. I locked myself out of my camper once and they were very accommodating and even knew a locksmith I could call. There are a lot of rules when you arrive but none of them seem to be unreasonable. They have several laundry spots on site, and I never had to wait for a washer or dryer. The front desk staff are very friendly and it was easy for me to get mail while I was here. Security is also very friendly and everyone is very accommodating. They have quarters for you to purchase for the washer/dryer in the office. I never had any problems while I was here and was never bothered. They changed the gate code during my stay here and made it very easy to get the new code after hours. The campground is very clean and doesn't have trash laying around or anything. There is no trash pickup though and you do have to take your trash to the dumpster but it was a welcomed walk and I never minded it. I was here during hurricane Elsa and they had a very clear plan as to what was expected of the residents and campers if an evacuation were to happen. Overall a great campground with no cons and I would be happy to come back here anytime.
