This place is incredible! Quaint, quiet, hospitable and many amenities. The pool has great seating and is large enough for families to enjoy. The clubhouse has many tables and seating for events with a stage and a sound system, complimentary coffee, mail station, ice and beverages for purchase. The resort is spacious, with easy to maneuver parking, full electrical, cable, and water hook up, sewage hookup, and picnic tables. Walking around the park there’s a couple of docks with overlook on waterways, one to fish from with a fish cleaning station, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, community fire pit, and kayak entry. Also, the resort is minutes from the beaches, downtown Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete. Quiet, family friendly, and clean with restrooms and laundry. For all the amenities as well as hospitable staff, the pricing is very reasonable.

We stayed here for the month of May and the park was very clean and nice had really great showers/restroom areas and the sites were spacious. The staff was very kind. My only advice is if you are a family with children this is not a very kid friendly park as it is mostly filled with older residents. Other than that it was a very nice park and great location.

First class RV campground. Sparkling clean, friendly knowledgeable staff, everything works as it should. The larger part of the campground is covered with mature leafy trees ( cut high for tall vehicles) that provide excellent shade. We have immediately booked a return visit.

Loved the park! We had a wonderful site with a tree that provided shade. The entire campground has trees and is well maintained! We thought there would be a Kayak launch here, but it is all rocks and not suitable to launch a kayak. That's ok though because 8 minutes away is a Park with a kayak launch. The park is nice and quiet and very well lit if you want to walk after dark. The swimming pool is big, warm and out in the sun for you to enjoy all day. I felt like the price was very fair for an upscale park that has great proximity to everything.

This definitely isn't your regular RV resort, it has this unique snowbird feel to it. It was great for what we were looking for...clean, safe, reliable, all thumbs up. It just doesn't have many of the normal facilities you now come to expect in RV resorts.... instead of a basketball and tennis they have bocce and shuffleboard. I think that really sums it up perfectly. Check our full video review by searching for Doug and Niki.

My husband and I stayed here for a month. This campground was very nice and clean. There is a dock you can fish off of and a nice pool. Highly recommend! Not very “primitive camping” I didn’t see any fire pits while we were there. However, it’s probably the nicest campground I’ve ever stayed at and we travel full time. They are pet friendly!

We stayed here for a month on site 8419. The site is located in the back of the park, which provided us with plenty of space around us and access to one of the docks right beside our spot. The sunsets were so beautiful and we loved watching all of the beautiful birds! The downside to this spot: constant road noise from Hillsborough Ave and lots of bugs from the mangroves. This is one of the nicest and most well- maintained RV parks that we've seen in FL. The pool area was also very nice. If we stay again, we will request a site in the newer section (west side of park) with large concrete pads to park your rig and it's much quieter being further from Hillsborough Ave. All in all, we had a very nice stay!! It's also very dog friendly which is always a plus!!

I had an extended stay here while attending Graduate School and I was very pleased with the community. The park is secure, clean, neat, and organized. The people in the community are very friendly and the staff is very professional. Bay Bayou does have strict rules and if your intention is to party all night, perhaps this is not the best place for you. However, it is a great place for those seeking a secure, clean, and quite place. During my stay, I traveled back and forth sometimes leaving the RV unattended for weeks and never felt any hesitation about my belongings been unsafe. Green areas are well maintained and the spots are spacious. For my small RV, the electric bill was little next to nothing ($50-$60/month). This place is a hidden jewel!

The cost of rent goes up about 20 or $30 a year if you are an annual. We started out about 7 years ago at 499 and we are now at 610. They say they provide cable and internet which goes down about everyday continually working on it. People disrespect each other when they come from the north. The laundromats are old washing machines are not up to date. Dog walkers everywhere. A few children not too many. They don't care much for children in this place. People don't mind their own business and like to complain about other people. It pretty much Park your vehicles wherever they want to and you're trying to get in and out because you work the disrespect you. They think you have all day because they are on vacation. Some of us still work for a living.

I just got here last night, and the place is clean, well-kept, the people are nice in the office, and in the park too. The bath houses area in good shape. I'm happy to be here for a few nights, but it's not quite what I was expecting in a "premier RV resort". The place is definitely a little dated to be billing itself as a "premier RV resort", and the services fall short of "premier" too. The sites we are in aren't paved, most of the amenities look a little aged, and very little privacy between spaces. I associate all those items with "premier" having stayed at places like Fort Wilderness, Aztec RV Resort, Everglades Isle, etc. Also, the dumpsters are only located near the office at the entrance. This is a big park, so while that may be convenient for management it's not for the guests. As I pulled toward my site the first car I passed had two garbage bags on the windshield heading to the dumpsters. That's not a "premier" look. Since my kids aren't supposed to leave the site unless I'm with them, I can't pass this off on them either. In the parks I've stayed in that had one central point for garbage, especially those places that bill themselves as "Premier RV Resorts", it is customary to have the garbage picked up in front of the sites by staff. Those parks that want you to handle your own garbage generally have more convenient locations to drop it off. This is a definite shortcoming here, but it's a nice park even if I wouldn't consider it a "premier RV resort".

We are in a large beautiful lot with concrete for our motorcoach and for the picnic table. It is picturesque and quiet. Lots of walking paths around small ponds and there are big beautiful birds everywhere. There is a nice albeit small dog area but it is very nice. Poop bags and places dedicated for dog waste that are always handy. Really nice place

The park is really nice!! We stayed in the old part where the lots were gravel, but it was packed down and there was a cement pad with a picnic table!! We chose the older section because of the trees everywhere and the spaces were far enough apart to stretch out!! Though we stayed during the busiest season, the prices were reasonable!! It was clean and well maintained!! Would stay there again!!

We checked in today, very friendly staff is always a plus. The Park is super clean , The lots are big and easy to back in the way they angled. A true full hook up with nice landscaping. Very quiet and peaceful, and the street lights work really good. Its not pitch dark like other parks. Looking forward to Taco Tuesday.

Very nice RV park with good prices in the off seasons. I would stay there again. We stayed 9 days and saw maintenance working every day to keep park clean and manicured. They have made and continue to make improvements, working on renovating the South laundry/bath during our visit. The laundry/bath nearest us had already been renovated and is very nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly; some folks are new and presume others have been told to be friendly due to reviews. Most liked dog poop stations throughout the park that keep dog poop out of trash and off the ground. Compliance was good as I did not see dog poop on the ground at all when we took our dog walking or to the large dog park.

Beautiful park in Upper Tampa Bay with many amenities during high season. We stayed a month and a half. Friendly community. New premier sites offer concrete pads and are impeccably maintained by staff 3 times a week. Pool is wonderful. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Note to self: book space away from trash receptacle and sewer lift station as noisy trash collection is at 0630 and vent deodorizer smells sometimes like mothballs depending on the wind.
