I marked rooms 4 stars because the park is set up nicely for RVrs to pull in. The facility very nice and well maintained. It’s full hookup. Restrooms are clean but the laundry is down. I’m not sure why. They should discount the fees because of that. But overall it’s one of the nicer parks.

Went here on Labor Day weekend for 4 days....be ready for ALOT of people, kids and pets. Park voltage was kind of low at 106 to 109, but you would expect that with everyone running AC. Water pressure was good, pick your spot carefully and have lots of leveling blocks.

I have been coming to this location for years and have always had a great visit. Staff members are always friendly and true professionals. There are a lot of great restaurants and shopping nearby.

Had a great time! On the beach for the first time at night! So beautiful...so fun! Parking was a challenge and was annoying but, once that was accomplished, all was good😊!

Great location, you can go up and down the coast and visit other locations easily via the bike trails, making for a nice ride.

Awesome to be on the beach, great views and so well-priced. Shower rooms are great, clean and well-maintained. I would stay here again, even with the constant plane noise.

If you face towards the ocean and don't look behind you it's a stunning location. The park was clean and seemed very safe giving its very odd location in LA near the airport. The planes were noticeable but not so loud I could not sleep and the flights seemed to stop around 10pm. I was traveling in my Sprinter van and needed a place to stay before flying out for a side trip. I was able to walk in the day of checkin and make a reservation for two nights in the "dry camp" area. They have a two night minimum but at a low nightly rate it was worth the price over staying in a hotel. Also this allowed me to not have a checkout on the day of my flight I was able to stay at the park all day and enjoyed the beach.

Upon arrival we noticed that we were booked in a drive in site, but we are pulling a travel trailer. The road was a one-way so we could not back into the site. I asked for site 3, but she refused saying it was booked. They gave us another site that was right beside the garbage and the showers. Constant coming and going. Lot number 3 that I had asked for stayed empty during my visit. The airplane noise did not bother me. The site was right on the beach, fire pits were very pretty and the sound of the water was very nice. Bike path also on location. Trucks were parked on the roadway in front of our trailer so we had to park on our lot in front of our trailer. Female staff warning that unless we kept our paper visible, they would take us. Showers were small.

NOISE POLLUTION - AIRPLANE TAKEOFF EVERY 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes until around 2AM and I was awakened this morning at 5:45AM. Regardless of the positives, even the dog couldn’t relax with the constant jet engine noise taking off right over us!

I struggled to rate it 5 stars, but I really wanted to. 4 stars because it is far from perfect, but we enjoyed our time there. 2 night minimum on all stays. The website is a huge pain in the butt to navigate, set up an account, get a secret pin code texted to you, verify your email address, then identify which photos are of cars, then of street lights, then of bicycles... enough with the verification already. The website is also not mobile-phone friendly, as it doesn't allow zoom, and you have to pick your spot from a big blob. If you can access from a real computer, the reservation will go very smoothly. For the site, there are planes that take off from LAX like every 4 minutes, which makes for some weird dreams, if you can sleep. There is about a 4 hour window where they don't fly from like 1 AM to 5 AM. The temperature was perfect. The breeze was perfect. There are lots of homeless people, but they never bothered us or wondered onto the RV lot. Plenty of room for the RV. Spot was much wider than some of the others we went to. Power, water, sewer all consistent and reliable. I highly recommend using the walk path and bike path. Both are awesome! The bike path takes a turn at Marina Del Rey, which puts you on the street for a short distance: that section is less than ideal for kids, but we made it work; and it was worth it because Santa Monica Beach is super cool. At Dockweiler, they have fire pits for use on the beach, but they are first come, first serve. You are fighting the entire Los Amgeles County, so claim one early. I know some of that sounds negative, but it is LA, so what do you expect? Where else would you be able to bring an RV with full hookups in LA on the beach for like $60 a night? The location was awesome! Security 24/7. In and out 24/7 for camper people, but the regular parking lot closes at 10 PM. No worries! But traffic can be a bear. The RV park was full of traveling vacationers and local LA folks enjoying their RV's. It was not full of dirty transients. I was really happy with this site and regret the 4 star rating because it could easily be a 5 just based on location.

We have need coming here for about 23 years. I love this place front spots are the best. This year I have been very disappointed. Much to my surprise someone has put up tents to camp on the beach at first I did not think much of it the next morning they were still there. When I called the office they said yes we can camp on the beach. The rules of the beach are no tent camping. I guess rules don’t count anymore so disappointed this cool close to home spot is going downhill. They are usually very strict on the rules.

Pros: The RV Park is well maintained and in a safe area of Los Angeles, large pathway for biking, jogging, and walking. Cons: The park is in the flight path of LAX, planes are flying over every 5-10 minutes and the ocean water is not very clean and has a distinctive odor due to being next to a water treatment plant and I would not recommend swimming in the water.

Safe area and armed guards plus unarmed security 24/7. On the beach in a quiet part of the highway. Pristine bathrooms and showers. Locked for only the campsites. Wonderful stay. 45$/night in May of 2024. You are directly behind the takeoff of LAX. But somehow you don’t hear it in your campervan.

Not a kid-friendly and pet-friendly RV site. First of all, yes, this RV park allows pets and charges you $3/day for your pet. HOWEVER, the lifeguard told us that the police might give us ticket if they see my dog on the beach and suggested us to bring our dog away from the beach. So we end up have to lock our dog in the RV when the kids play on the beach. Second, same as all the non 5 stars reviews, this is a SUPER NOISY place. Airplanes fly on top of you until 1:00am, then around 5:00am they come back again. If you really want to try this location, stay only one night!!!! Other than that, this site gives full hook, hot water shower in a clean restroom, next to the beach are very good to stay.

Excellent location, there is noise from planes but after a while it’s just white noise. Location is perfect for beach, biking and being right on the beach and reasonable priced for a location like this with full hookups. Would return again if in the area.
