Wow, that's all I've got. I've stayed all over the world camping and this campground ranks in the top tier of the ones I've been to. The staff is amazing and friendly as can be. Charles in particular, one of the staff members, was great! They sell bait, rent kayaks, have great restrooms, have a little beach, great views and clean sites. We will definitely be back! These pictures are the morning views!

Don't ruin your boat trailer! Paid $15.00 to use the boat ramp for one day. They did not tell me the boat ramp has a huge hole. I backed the trailer to load the boat and the right tire fell into the hole. The 4 wheel drive would not pull the trailer out. Had to lift the back of the trailer to get the tire out of the hole. When we pulled it out it had crushed the fender to the tire on my new boat trailer. It's a beautiful pond. I would have appreciated a heads up.

First let me start by saying the staff Linda and Kurt were outstanding. Linda was a treat! She was knowledgeable, funny, great personality for her position. The park was nice and clean. The other neighboring campers friendly. My husband was expecting crystal clear water which it wasn’t and disappointed him. The only real negative thing I have to say was getting to the pool. The grass had standing water so walking through it with my flip flops sprayed mud all over the back of my cover up. The kids were coming in with muddy feet and getting into the pool. I might suggest a cement walk way by the bath house with a fence that would force the one way in. I am sure the workers cleaning the pool and the area would appreciate that. It would be nice if maybe a team members came through the pool area occasionally as the teenagers were jumping off the edge and swearing. Which I realize we are all on vacation but maybe a little more respect to the adults just standing in the pool have a conversation with another adult and to cannon ball 1 foot from the adult is a little disrespectful.

As a first time camper at this park, I was not impressed. I went into it with high expectations. The roads had alot of holes, and I didn't like the fact that there was no sidewalks to anything, you had to walk through the grass (which needed to be cut), and the mud to get to the clubhouse, pool and play ground, the play ground was very little, the pool was okay, the clubhouse had nice furniture and very comfortable, but the games were very used and not taken care of, pieces missing, etc., the TV was very nice and large, Netflix was available. We couldn't use the pool table any of the time we were there, you have to bring your license to the office to get the pool balls, the weather was horrible all 4 days we stayed, so we tried to utilize the resources we had on camp. The 2nd day we were there, the clubhouse was rented, so we couldn't even use it due to that. Also, upon arrival I was informed that we had cabin 2 and the lady asked if we had an air mattress, I said no, I was certainly confused because the lady I spoke to on the phone said that there was a bunk bed and full bed. We have a family of 5, and was camping with 2 other couples, they both rented a concrete spot and brought their own rv. Thank goodness another couple we camped with had an air mattress we could use. We were suppose to be next to each other but we were in the cabin on the end near the boat ramp, not near each other, which made things difficult to gather together. The cabin we stayed in was nice, the bathroom had a spacious shower and the cabin was clean. There is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. No stove, grill, or TV at the cabin. The air conditioner worked great! As far as the bed goes, it was horrible, all you could feel was the springs, the mattress had a cover on it so the mattress was clean, I was expecting it to be old, but to my surprise it was just a very cheap 5 or 6 inch mattress. We decided to left early due to this fact, we couldn't rest well on the bed and it wasn't worth us waking up being sore. Despite the horrible weather, and horrible bed, the 4 days we stayed there we did make good memories, we finally were able to see the beautiful springs the last day for a few hours, which almost made the back pain worth it. Lol. FYI: there is an extra charge to use a debt/credit card for payment.

I stayed here in 2016 when it was Arrowhead, but a lot of improvements have been made under the new ownership. From the lady who took my reservation on the phone, then the young girl that checked me in, to the man in the cart that escorted me to my site, the staff was friendly and very professional. Had a concrete pad site facing the water, and it was a full hookup, pull-thru. WiFi was strong, and the park relatively quiet. What spoiled it for me was a tiny trailer parked next to my site with three dogs in it that barked every time I came outside and the owners did nothing. Had I stayed more than one night, I would have made a complaint. A little pricey though for a one night stay. VERY nice park, and highly recommend.

We stayed a week in a 43ft fifth wheel. We did not reserve a concrete site and that was a big mistake ( pay the extra for those sites) the site they gave us was a "gravel" site 191 and the rv just fit in the space, we had to park the truck in the "yard" portion until we asked about renting a fire pit (there are no fire ri gs on site $10 to rent if you dont have one and the wood was $6 a bundle but was pretty green still)but having no where to put it and they let us park in the lot next door they said they didnt use it! I'm grateful no one was put on the other side of us as there was a 5 ft clearance from my staps to the hook ups for the neighboring site and we wouldnt have been able to get out easily! The staff was all diligent and super friendly and helpful! Laundry and showers were nice and the dog park was big with plenty of grass. When I first got there I wasnt happy but not having an immediate neighbor during our stay lifted my spirits and we had a nice time! I would go back but definitely getting a concrete site!!

This is the 2nd year the First Coast Allegro Club has held a rally at this campground. The service is fantastic and they go out of their way to make our stay here so enjoyable. All the staff are so willing to help and so friendly. Mattie does a great job working with the club to make sure we are well informed. Great experience.!

Paid for a waterfront spot and not on the water. Just wanted our first vacation after husbands leukemia diagnosis to be special. Also they wanted $25 for late checkout. UPDATE: Thank you for your response and offer but we would prefer a refund. I just verified on your website and it is still advertising them as "concrete waterfront spots". I called and made my reservation over the phone and specifically asked for a waterfront spot as well. Very surprised when we arrived and we were in front of a drained pond.

I had to cancel and I knew about a fee for that but they changed my site to a more expensive one and then added a service fee as well. Not very customer service oriented and we will not be going there! To follow up on your response, I did not request a concrete pad! I understand the cost you have to incur as an owner/operator but I felt taken advantage of when I called to cancel, which I did (you said I didn't show up). Someone could have handled the situation much better than my experience. I will not be coming back because of your neglect to potential customers!

Staff is very accommodating and friendly, everyone greets you with a smile. Employees ride around all day cleaning up and maintaining the grounds, clean and quiet place. Facilities are very clean and updated as well. Highly recommend if your in the area, gas station on site for anything you forgot. The employee there was just as friendly as the campground staff.

The management was very nice, nice laundry room. They had a lot of construction, but were trying to make the best of it . I enjoyed a walk around the quiet lake. The sites are pretty close -- We lucked out, the people closest to us left , we had a little more room .

This place is great!!! I had to be in the area for 2 months for a employment contract and hated paying the hotels $600 weekly for rent, I drove by to get gas and by chance contacted them when I saw the sign. The ladies in the office were able to get me set up in one of the cabins for the first month (with pet) and a RV for the second month. Both places were great, very clean. Security patrols all day and late into the night to ensure safety although there was absolutely no signs that it was needed. Everyone was very nice, helpful and the best thing was the prices, I was so happy to find a nice place without the high price tag. Plenty of things to do (kayaking, fishing) close to a lot of restaurants and shopping (Walmart and biglots). I’m definitely coming here if a contract comes up again! Thanks guys, your the best!

My husband and I are on a mini-vacation this weekend and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. The area was devastated by Hurricane Michael two years ago, and it’s evident they have been hard at work to get things back to “normal”. Living in the panhandle, we are not strangers to hurricanes and are aware these things take time and money. The owners have done a fantastic job. The laundry and club house are nice (though we didn’t use either) and the bathrooms are clean. Once this place is done, and the water is back in the pond (which is actually a pretty sight even without the water), we’ll be back! ||||Another important mention is the staff! The office staff and everyone riding around in a golf cart has been incredibly friendly and eager to help and give us information about the area.||||The gas station is really nice as well, the prices seem way better than typical convenience stores and the staff is friendly. ||||The restaurant, I left a separate review for. I believe we had a unique experience, however it was the only thing we weren’t pleased with during our stay. ||||The area is nice, but other than the caverns and a self-guided historical tour, we couldn’t find much to do. Everything is still ruined from the hurricane and Merritt’s Mill Pond is empty for dam repairs, so there was no ability to kayak or hike, as we hoped to do. We look forward to returning in a few years to check out this area once they’ve had some time to get back up and running again.

Friendly staff all around, Larry’s wife brought us treats. Bathrooms clean every time. They really take care of this place, always on golf carts cleaning and being welcoming. Level and spacious sites.

I have to go 3 stars. I would do 2 reviews if I could. Night 1 a nightmare. Loud party group in front of us, horder behind us. Luckily we were able to move for the next 2 night. Then the stay become amazing and beautiful. I would never stay in a spot here without concrete it is too dirty. The water is beautiful. We really enjoyed the view. Only other BIG flaw is water pressure. I'm guessing due to construction.
