The management was very nice, nice laundry room. They had a lot of construction, but were trying to make the best of it . I enjoyed a walk around the quiet lake. The sites are pretty close -- We lucked out, the people closest to us left , we had a little more room .

This place is great!!! I had to be in the area for 2 months for a employment contract and hated paying the hotels $600 weekly for rent, I drove by to get gas and by chance contacted them when I saw the sign. The ladies in the office were able to get me set up in one of the cabins for the first month (with pet) and a RV for the second month. Both places were great, very clean. Security patrols all day and late into the night to ensure safety although there was absolutely no signs that it was needed. Everyone was very nice, helpful and the best thing was the prices, I was so happy to find a nice place without the high price tag. Plenty of things to do (kayaking, fishing) close to a lot of restaurants and shopping (Walmart and biglots). I’m definitely coming here if a contract comes up again! Thanks guys, your the best!

My husband and I are on a mini-vacation this weekend and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. The area was devastated by Hurricane Michael two years ago, and it’s evident they have been hard at work to get things back to “normal”. Living in the panhandle, we are not strangers to hurricanes and are aware these things take time and money. The owners have done a fantastic job. The laundry and club house are nice (though we didn’t use either) and the bathrooms are clean. Once this place is done, and the water is back in the pond (which is actually a pretty sight even without the water), we’ll be back! ||||Another important mention is the staff! The office staff and everyone riding around in a golf cart has been incredibly friendly and eager to help and give us information about the area.||||The gas station is really nice as well, the prices seem way better than typical convenience stores and the staff is friendly. ||||The restaurant, I left a separate review for. I believe we had a unique experience, however it was the only thing we weren’t pleased with during our stay. ||||The area is nice, but other than the caverns and a self-guided historical tour, we couldn’t find much to do. Everything is still ruined from the hurricane and Merritt’s Mill Pond is empty for dam repairs, so there was no ability to kayak or hike, as we hoped to do. We look forward to returning in a few years to check out this area once they’ve had some time to get back up and running again.

Friendly staff all around, Larry’s wife brought us treats. Bathrooms clean every time. They really take care of this place, always on golf carts cleaning and being welcoming. Level and spacious sites.

I have to go 3 stars. I would do 2 reviews if I could. Night 1 a nightmare. Loud party group in front of us, horder behind us. Luckily we were able to move for the next 2 night. Then the stay become amazing and beautiful. I would never stay in a spot here without concrete it is too dirty. The water is beautiful. We really enjoyed the view. Only other BIG flaw is water pressure. I'm guessing due to construction.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Florida Cavern RV Resort and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful resort. We were there for a safe location getting out of harms way of Hurricane Sally. It was 6 of us and my mom is on oxygen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mrs Brenda, Mrs Linda and Ms Madi I meet the owner Erwin Jackson and he was so good to me and my family,..while on our trip my RV had to go in the shop. We’re in a place where we don’t know anybody. And Mr Jackson let my family hang out in the recreation center while my husband and I had to go with the tow truck to check out our RV. I sitting in the waiting room thinking 💭 what am I going to do next,,, how are we getting back to the Resort,,, where are all of us going to stay tonight...then walks in a familiar face from the Resort Mr Kurt Drobisch. We only knew him from seeing him at resort. He was so helpful in my time of need he drove us to get food for my family, we checked into another RV at the resort for the night, he helped us with all of my mom equipment. He did so much and would not let me pay him. All I could say is THANK YOU JESUS!!!! Because People don’t have to be nice to you. And I will definitely be coming back to this Resort in the near future and I give it 20 stars and more. The next day our RV was fixed Kurt drove us to pick it up and we loaded up and headed back home. We made it home safe.

What a huge improvement with new management. Everything, from the clubhouse to individual rv spots, is new and nice. This campground has everything you need for a fun family camping trip. You can kayak, fish, go boating, enjoy a dip in the pool, or paddle to Blue Springs Park. There is even a local restaurant on site that has country style food and delicious desserts. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back.

While the park itself is beautiful there were several things that we didn't like about our stay this past weekend. The pool needs to be fixed ASAP. The tile is broken and the handle leading down the steps into the pool is rusted and has sharp parts on it. Another issue we had is about what dogs are allowed and which ones are not. I have a pit bull who is according to other people consider aggressive dogs, and I understand that some are but not all of them are. While we were there the camp site behind us had two small dogs staying there and when they were on their leash they would bark and growl aggressively at everyone who walked by including the employees passing on golf carts. Nobody ever said anything about them. We also saw a short mixed breed bulldog staying there not far from the office. Its just a guess but maybe they didn't say anything BC he is a short breed. It goes back to what's good for one is good for all. If my dog couldn't be there then the other bulldog and the clearly aggressive dogs shouldn't have been there. Also when you book your stay they say there is free WiFi. We were not given the passwordpassword, we had to wait until the next morning and call to get it. The lady who was working the office was very rude at check in and whoever answered the phone when we called to inquire about the stay was rude also. We will more than likely not be staying again and will not recommend it to anyone who asks. We will wait for the state parks to open back up before we camp again.

We stayed for a night last week on our drive back to Colorado from Miami. The staff was very helpful and the park was absolutely beautiful! We really wished we could have stayed a couple of days...especially after waking up to such a beautiful view in the morning! After reading some comments about some of the sites being muddy, we asked for a paved pull through site and were given a very nice spot that was recently built. We were also told that much of the park was destroyed in a hurricane a year ago and that the new owners have been working hard to rebuild. Given that information, it was understandable that there were signs of active construction and newly planted grass etc.

Muddy, Loud and not ready for guests. 7 AM Sunday morning construction and loud voices right outside the RV. I understand that maintenance needs to take place so placing guests in areas where there is not construction would be extremely appreciated. The staff was very friendly and the check in process smooth. The RV site they selected for us was very muddy which make the cleaning experience more challenging. I believe when this park is completed, it will be great. But until then, you may want to stay away.
