Grand Canyon Trailer Village RV park is THE place to stay when visiting this amazing park. It provides easy access to shuttle buses and bike trails to explore the park. The sites are large and accommodating, with picnic tables and charcoal grills. Elk regularly visit and ravens are always present. Overall the RV park is peaceful and quiet. However- there is some construction going on near the water tanks- so be sure to request a site closer to the registration building if you are sensitive to construction noise. We make reservations every year as we are leaving for next year-AND-because the cancellation policy is so generous-many times there is mid week availability in the spring & fall with little wait time. Check the website frequently when you are planning a visit. We visited 4/16-30/2025. We have a 39’ fifth wheel & extra vehicle.

Very nice, very clean park with an excellent layout. About a mile from the South Rim. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing week there. Quiet. Nice clean and new restrooms. Spacious sites. Full hookups. Very close to everything, South rim, grocery and shuttles. Showers and laundry less than a 1/2 mile away. Beautiful walking paths.

We enjoyed our stay here. Just a short walk to the store, visitor center and south rim. No morning traffic since the RV park is inside the national park. Loved watching the elk graze all around us in the morning and evening.

Nice campground, all hookups in the park but no bathhouse in this specific park. Elk and many birds to watch from your site.

Showers and laundry until 4pm only. And it's outside the park, 500 meters... They give you a coin for 5 minutes per person per day, and then you have to walk back... The water connection was damaged, the table under a pine tree unusable due to pine resin. The only good things, were the elfs and the deers that came to visit us... In short, avoid this place.

Good RV park - close to everything in Grand Canyon. Spots are very close to each other - but as expected in such a busy place. Be ready for the elk..

We love visiting the Canyon and staying in our RV. Unfortunately there are many low branches that could result in severe damage to larger RV’s. To insure safe access, could you please consider trimming branches to 14ft above the roads? Some sites are inaccessible due to this issues, and you can see scars on trees where RV’s have scraped against them. Everything else has been perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful, and we love seeing the mule deer around the park. Thanks for all you do!

Amazing location for going to the park! I will say we did a late check in and had to go to the lodge front desk to check in. He was very communicative but we were sent to a site that already had someone in it, and then sent to a secondary site that was empty but was technically reserved for another person that hadn’t came in? Seemed a little disorganized but he was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

We got in last minute, it was nice, close to everything, we had to go to another campground close by to shower for $2.50 for 5 minutes. Bathrooms at our campground were under construction. I would stay here again for the convenience. We had a heard of elk walk through the campground early one morning, so cool.

I didnt bring a vehicle or bike to get around. I didnt need one. The visitor center is less than a mile away. The dogs and i walked to the center and then walked the rim. The bathrooms were closed. The hook ups were in good condition. The lots were clean and level gravel. The spots are wide. You dont feel like you are too close to your neighbor. It is so dark and lovely at night. Great for star watching.

Great location, 5 min from Mather point & right next to the general store. You can’t camp any closer to the canyon rim.

Close enough to walk to the shuttle busses. Location is great! But. You get 1 token for a 5 minute shower per day. The shower hours are from 7am to 4pm so the last shower possible is 345 pm. The showers are not conveniently located. The restrooms were all under construction so they were closed and the porta potties they had in the mean time had no hand sanitizer and the pump hand wash outside had no water, no towels and no soap. Ick.

Amazing way to see the park is to stay right inside it at this campground. Heavy forest surrounds the campground. We saw lots of wildlife including Elk right in our campground, lots of deer. Because of a storm that closed the passes coming into the park, we missed our first night so we added an extra night. When we called to change our reservation, they put us for an extra night but we were going to have to change our site after the 1st night. This was disappointing because we would have to spend extra time away from exploring to move our rig after the first night. The guy, Jason, who checked us in at the campground, worked his magic and found us a spot where we could stay put for 2 nights. He also recommended what trails would be good for us. We are elderly and my husband walks with a cane. The trails he suggested were perfect. I would give the campground 5 stars but both bath houses in this campground was closed due to frozen pipes and remodeling. We had to drive to another area to use restrooms and showers. Unfortunately, due to all the extra usage from other camp sites, the showers/bathrooms were filthy and crowded. I know they were doing their best to accomodate everyone but a discount would have been nice to compensate this inconvenience of having to drive to another area for the facilities. Other than that, we enjoyed the fact that the entire south end of the park was at our fingertips and the check in process was amazing.
