Beautiful park, restrooms currently being renovated (March 2025) so be self contained. A little expensive but worth being only 5 minutes from the south lookouts.

The Grand Canyon is an awesome place to visit with a variety of activities for everyone. Is has spectacular views and easy walking along much of the South Rim, hiking into the canyon for the more adventurous, museums and more.

I appreciated having a shuttle stop at Trailer Village so that we could get to the Grand Canyon easily once we were inside the park. Trailer Village was clean and it was easy to find our spot. The experience was great!

Our site was covered in snow so can't speak much about it. However, the restrooms were closed, and we had to use porta potties that were FULL and were long past due of needing to be emptied. The check in clerk was very rude and unhelpful on 2 different occasions, over the phone and in person. We will not be back or recommend this to others especially during "winter" even though our stay was in mid-March. Maybe during June-August would be a better experience, but don't expect much help from Daniel at the Trailer Village check-in office.

I accidentally double booked for this location and Grand Canyon Camper Village (which is outside the park). We arrived at Grand Canyon Trailer Village Tues night after hours, so we went to check in the next morning. The man at the counter was condescending and acted as if I was an idiot for being confused. He was training a new employee at the time, and the way he was explaining and coaching on what to do when this happens made it even worse. He explained to his trainee that this happens from time to time, so why is there not a better way to handle this than making your customers feel like crap? The sites themselves were fine, but the public restrooms were closed for renovations or something.

Both restrooms were closed and instead they had porta potties. They didn’t mention this anywhere in their website when making a reservation. We were told that the restrooms would open in the morning but didn’t. You can’t make a fire here.

... overpriced. Disappointing. --- Seems like payment is more for the undoubtedly priceless Grand Canyon and less for your RV spot. They charge you 81 bucks per day for full hook-up with no shower, no toilet, no wifi, no laundry in walking distance. Laundry and showers are half a mile away on a neighboring campground.

amazing, hot inspiring views. Wonderful clean well done campground with bike trails to access other areas of the park. Staff was friendly and helpful

Went during off season so lots of space. The restrooms were closed for the season. And had porta potys. Ewwww. During season though I suspect this place would be packed in like sardines with little room to maneuver your rig. Park shuttle was really nice.

Great place to stay for awhile or just a “splash and go”. The sites are ample and will accommodate all sizes of rv’s. They are all pull through.

5 stars for the convenience of being in the park and the level sites. We came in on Wednesday and there was basically no one there. We left on Friday and it was about 10% full. Overall would do it again just for the ease of being in the park and not having to wait in line at the gate every time.

Visited the campground in January, had a lot of space to ourselves and had several elk encounters which was cool. The sites themselves are clean, well kept, and pull through but very close together. You might be able to reach out of your window and touch your neighbors in the summer time when it’s packed. When we checked in the guy at the front desk wasn’t friendly and gave very little instruction or information about the park. You have to drive a few minutes to another campground to get to showers and laundry, they only have restrooms at this location. There was also a lot of construction towards the back of the campground and some noise from the workers in the morning. Over all not bad, but if it wasn’t in the nationally park it wouldn’t be worth the money.

105 bucks for one night. No wifi. Can't use public showers. All the grills were covered up. The pad they put us in wasn't level. If yall are under water restrictions maybe go down on price. Place isn't worth the 100 bucks. When I've stayed at multiple places for 50 bucks with better facilities.

Our view consisted of an old broke down car on jacks with an oil slick under it. This was our sad view every day out the large front window of our camper as we tried to enjoy our coffee in the morning or dinner in the evening. I informed the front desk and they said the car belonged to someone in the dormitory and acknowledged it had been there a while. For the price we paid for the campsite and witnessing the lack of care for the National Park, we were simply disappointed in the experience. Update- this has been sufficiently addressed and resolved. This is no longer an issue and I can recommend this as a great place to stay and visit. I encourage anyone to speak with management if there are problems.
