A must stay for premium beach view. Spacious lot with easy to use hookups, and a park table to hangout and eat. Kids said the bathrooms were super nice and clean. Like a restaurant-clean said our kid. That's a compliment for sure.

Stayed in tent site. A little angled, but incredible views. Very friendly staff and well stocked mini store. Nice restrooms and showers.

If you are going to Malibu and you are camping or pulling a trailer or RV this is the place. It ain’t cheap but it’s Malibu, and you won’t find a better view or a nicer group of folks running the park. Hookups are well maintained and there are all sorts of events and music, a store and great people coming and going. Definitely a stop on your journey!

Perfect spot if you’re looking for a full RV hookup with perfect views of the pacific. Smallish spots but still big enough to allow for outdoor space. Loved the dog walk area and the other non-dog viewing spots of the ocean.

The SurfOutpost is quickly becoming a Malibu classic. Fantastic ocean front spaces with spectacular views, super clean facilities combined with friendly professional service makes this beach getaway a must do for everyone. I'll be back.

We enjoyed our time here! The views are fantastic. It’s the perfect place for a mellow retreat. Staff is so accommodating and helpful. From the very start, when they upgraded us at no cost due to the original spot being too tight for us, to their helpful staff who jumped in and got ice for our daughter who fell off her skateboard, we truly enjoyed our experience and felt supported. We will be back!

So far on our week vacation this has been the best most amazing least stressful RV park! Sorta the most pricy but the best! Shout out to their super star security guard who went out of his way not only to guide us to our spot at night (we didn’t get in until 1am) but also to point out all the closest facilities!!!

I would absolutely stay here again, but two comments of note - (1) those sites are not spacious or easy to back in to with the angle, and (2) laundry closes pretty early and requires quarters still [as of March 2025].

From making my reservation, to being evacuated for the Palisades fire, to requesting a different site and making fair financial accommodations for the time spent while evacuated from the park, the staff went over and above to take care of us and provide a great experience. Everyone was friendly, flexible and professional. The overall condition of the park is great. The bathrooms were virtually spotless. Bottom line, it was a very pleasurable experience for the entire 2 months (it wasn’t their fault we had to evacuate). I was very thankful they proactively made the decision to evacuate the park due to the forecasted high winds. It turns out the Palisades and Malibu fires started about 4 hours later, blocking the south bound PCH. We will be returning next year for another 2 months. Hopefully, with no fires this time!

Excellent place to stay. Very helpful and kind. Excellent view and a great price for the location. I would definitely stay again. We stayed here after the fires and had to leave early bc of the incoming rain storm, the areas around us was being evacuated and they offered to refund us for the night.

Review for Malibu RV Park I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had with Malibu RV Park. I had a reservation for an anniversary weekend, but unfortunately, wildfires struck the area. While I completely understand that natural disasters are beyond anyone’s control, what I cannot accept is the park’s complete lack of communication and professionalism in handling the situation. Despite multiple phone calls and repeated attempts to reach out, I received no response from the park. No updates, no courtesy calls—just radio silence. When I finally managed to speak with Saul, who claims to be the highest authority on the matter, I was met with nothing but excuses and vague explanations as to why a full refund could not be issued. Instead of offering solutions, transparency, or even basic empathy, Saul deflected and provided no meaningful assistance. To make matters worse, when I asked for information on escalating the issue, I was told that the owner’s name is Leslie, but no further details were provided. The lack of accountability and customer service from this establishment is appalling. In a situation where clear communication and support should have been a priority, they failed miserably. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying at Malibu RV Park. If this is how they handle guests during challenging times, I can only imagine the level of service on a regular day. I will never be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. I would highly recommend the Huntington Beach RV park. Staff was so informative and cared about the customer experience.

So absolutely sad! We were here years ago and it was such a fantastic spot that we decided to splurge and spend that extra money to come here. What an epiphanal will waste of money and time! The non access to the beach? Thought that was a little odd. They shut off my water because it had a small drip and hubby had the tools and was gone. The maintenance guy would not help me out one bit! In fact he was creepy and freaked me out because he wouldn't stop coming around the camper. Definitely a very weird individual! The only redeeming thing was the cute little store that they had on the property with the nicest Clerk! I forget the prison yard spotlights that were on all night? It was the craziest thing to have it's so lit up. Maybe it's for Animals? Maybe it's to deter thieves? I don't know but I definitely will not spend a single dime to go stay at this dump! Even went to the sunset couch area and no gas in the fire pit, dirty, and just all-around a complete and utter mess! Don't waste your money or your time
