First- beautiful state park. Second, campground office is super professional and has great stuff. Third- clean clean facilities. Fourth. It’s superbowl weekend and I figured we’d miss the game but NO!! They have WIFI so we gout our YouTube TV on and voila! Super Bowl camping night! Big points for Alabama State parks

Nicest campground we have stayed at in years! Excellent bathhouses, with laundry and WiFi! So much to do here! We will be back again!

Recently renovated campgrounds, great bathrooms with family restrooms, great for us traveling with a baby. The sites are spacious and the park offers so many trails and activities. We can’t wait to go back and spend more time because one night was not enough

1) loud machines running from 8am -11am. 2}poison ivy about 10 feet awayfm bench and walking area in campsite. 3)staff who don't empathize with guest's need for noisefree and relaxing experience at the campground. I was here for a stay at the tent campground, at a site furthest away from cars and buildings, thinking it would be quiet and peaceful. No such luck due to the early morning sessions of extremely loud mowing and cleaning machines, starting around 8 am till at least 10am. Also there was something even louder that seemed like a shrieking machine during that time. When I discussed the matter with the park officials they stated it's past the quiet hours of 10pm-6am and there's nothing they can do to provide the stress-free, peaceful and relaxing experience, that we had come there for. Will not be staying here again. And do not recommend this to anyone.

The new construction at the campground is very nice. We have always loved the park itself; the hiking is top notch.

The campground was nice and the facilities were clean by my tent site was infested with fleas. I got there after dark and didn't notice until the morning. I went mountain biking first thing in the morning and when I returned the fleas immediately started attacking my legs so I packed up and left. Its a shame because Oak Mountain State Park is such an amazing place.

Very nice campground. All of the RV spots and facilities appear to be recently renovated. One of the nicest state parks I've stayed at.

Love it here. Camped in Nov. 2018. Bath houses clean, staff friendly and helpful. Good value. Tons to do in the park also. New improvements as of 2024. 2 new bath houses. All site full hookups. 20,30,50 amp.new camp store. Newly graded gravel sites.

This campground is full of beautiful trees and is clean. We had to move because the hook-ups were too far away from our trailer. Lots of bugs so we didn't sit outside (it was summer though). Restrooms/showers very far away and no trash dumpsters until you're driving out of the campground. Kind of inconvenient. We thought it was pricey for what you get.

The campground was awesome, the bathrooms were clean and the campsite was perfect. I had a tent site with water and electricity.

This place is beautiful and lovely. Side has more shade then side a A. However, side b has a new wash house and bigger pull through sites. We stayed in b12 The campsite was clean level and we pulled in late, so it was already shady. We hiked up to the interpretive center with our kids and had a great time playing in the fairy garden. However, we do not tow a car and RV definitely could not have made it up. The road was very steep.
