We enjoy so much coming out here to see my parents. Everyone just waves and smiles! Watching families walk around holding hands, walking their dogs and riding bikes. Just really brings back the good feeling of the olden days where we didnt need much. The park is so big, kids are always playing. This campground is so family and dog friendly..

EDIT TO ADD: The manager Dawnette came to apologize for everything that happened while we were here. I was very impressed and we will give them another shot. She let us know that there was after hours help available that we were unaware of. See you in September Riverview. The employees seem nice enough and we liked the location. So why the one star? They give you a list of about 35 rules at check in. Rules about things like quiet time from 10pm to 8am and keep your dogs leashed. Those are great rules! If they’d enforce them. For the bulk of our stay, our neighbors would light up their site with a huge light right under our window, starting about 9:30pm. Then they’d proceed to laugh and talk loudly until about midnight. Also, I cannot count the number of dogs that bumrushed my dog without leashes. Finally, I was awoken each morning at 7:30 to the employees laughing loudly and smoking right outside my camper. My campsite number was 217. If you listen to nothing else I have said, I implore you to request any site but this one. Why? Well, the front yard for this site is the employee lounge and smoking area. It’s also the entrance to the store, so all weekend people were walking through our site. Apparently, there’s also a kid’s scavenger hunt that directs them to the trees in my site. There was never a dull moment. A family also directed their son to pee on the tree in our site because there are no bathrooms near the main building. I realize that some of these things are related to their client’s behavior, but if they’re not going to enforce the rules, they can take equal blame in the misery it creates.

The River is amazing!!! Staff are super friendly and the best thing of all… this place is so so so so clean!! We camp a lot and are used to bathrooms and showers that are slightly better than gross. These facilities are spotless!! No bugs, no spider webs… just clean!! Sites are right on top of each other which isn’t great but the bathrooms… amazing!!! Nice park and dog park.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay. Nice campground and a good location for touristy activities. We especially want to comment on the office staff on our day of arrival for working with us on finding the right spot for our motor home. And we want to thank Alex for for escorting us patiently and happily and checking in on us frequently if we needed anything.

Last time I was here was about a year ago and saw many improvements. from the year before. The staff was friendly, the restrooms were very clean, and the overall park was clean. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. First the office staff was very rude, I stood there waiting to be acknowledged for a while for the girls in the office to stop gossiping with each other. All the while the phone rang off the hook. Now I know why I could never get an answer whenever I called. Second the park was starting to look run down and the bathrooms were not kept near as clean as they were my last visit. Not only were they not very clean the woman that was cleaning them was extremely rude and she snapped at me and said you can't use the bathroom its closed for cleaning. She acted as if I was a bother. Then there was a guy I was told he was the head of maintenance that was very short with me and acted as if he had a chip on his shoulder. We felt very unwelcome. They must have hired new staff because the staff last time I was here were very friendly and helpful and that was not the case this time. I really liked it here the last time I was here, but the way I was treated this time I will defiantly not be returning. I would not recommend this park if you want to enjoy your trip!

We enjoyed our time here so much! The beauty of Colorado nature is all around including a stream/river that you can walk down to. The sites are a little tight depending on where you are and our water pressure was intermittently strong. Their concierge service is amazing! They brought firewood to our site, and even came out to fill our propane tank! We will definitely be back!

This was our first time here and will be our last. If you stay here, I hope you like sand & dirt…it’s everywhere. The WiFi is not good . And make sure you drive a Smart Car if you want to park at your campsite; you can squeeze alongside your camper if you’re lucky. There is a dog park, also sand, but make sure to keep an eye on your sweet pets as mine were chased by another dog while it’s owners looked on and said, “she’s really nice”. Management was rude. We had parked in the space by our campsite as there was not a camper there. Greg, who is the manager, asked my husband to move, which he was quick to comply but did ask what the problem was since there was no one in that site. He was told he could pay for that spot if he wanted to park there & then said he would contact the sheriff if he didn’t move; again, my husband was in the truck, ready to move. Campground has not much to offer; it’s an older campground with updates that need to be done. We have never camped at a campground that didn’t offer parking by your camper. We love Colorado but not much love for Loveland. This place looked & sounded great online…I guess actually seeing it told another story. We usually stay in Estes but thought we’d try something different - won’t do that again.

We come here yearly but unfortunately we think this will be our last. We loved it before the big flood but since then it has just gone down hill. There’s too many permanent residents and it’s become trashy and looks like a trailer park. A lot of nice rigs used to come here and now it’s a lower class crowd and junky campers because that’s what it attracts. It’s too bad because this place has a lot of potential!! Their water hookups are horrid down in a ‘pit’ with frogs galore and spiders. Pleasant to stick your hand down there! They used to have a game room and now it’s a yoga studio mmmkay….. just not for us anymore!

The park is beautiful with mature trees providing shade and the river in back of our site. Staff friendly and helpful. The sites are narrow, for folks with slide outs especially. And as others have mentioned, the water pressure was not good...especially during the holiday weekend when the park filled up.

We loved our stay here at Riverview. They have done many improvements since we stayed here 3 yrs ago. The park is very clean and well maintained, the WiFi is so much better then it use to be and we had no issues with water pressure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The management from what I'm told is new and they have really made this a nice park, kudos to the new manager! Thank you for a wonderful time!

PROS: - shady trees - location (easily accessible from Estes/Rocky Mtn NP, Fort Collins, etc) - clean laundry room - excellent neighbors CONS: - in general, the park feels run down - wifi so poor we couldn't use during our entire stay - we had a lot of issues receiving packages - only 4 W/D units for entire large park - water pressure is so low in the late mornings that our hot water heater wouldn't trigger - dog park is not maintained, and while I generally love hanging at RV dog runs I regretted every time I had to walk over All in all, I don't think we'd return. It wasn't the worse park we've stayed in, but it certainly wasn't the best.

Riverview has been the perfect place to stay for us! It is very quiet in the evening and everyone that works for this RV park is nothing but wonderful! We had power throughout the rainstorms and enjoyed the store on the grounds and especially the ladies assisting us. The river and areas near the river are well maintained with flowers, ivy, and even cattails that are so eye catching. We certainly hope to return.

Can't check in early can't check out late. Payed almost $70 a night to be put in the worst spot they had. The sites in the back was so close together that I open my door and pretty much could walk into the person next to me trailer. There was people in the park at 11pm even though it says no one can be in there after dusk. Then when I went to leave my trailer scrapped really bad coming out. I told them about it. The electric, sewer, and water was down in a whole with my back problems I could not hook up the water or sewer. I paid the same amount of money and got the worst spot. Used a good sam discount still almost $70 a night. Thanks to Colorado laws it's not like you have a choice you have to stay in a campground because boondocking is pretty much fully illegal. Not a far price for what I got. $40 was the right price for the site I was forced to be in. I wish I had one of the good sites so I would have got what I paid for. Shower houses looked nice could not use them because they was full .we I went over there

Campground has potential…good location and space between river sites. However ground is dirt which for campers brings lots of dirt and dust in camper. Then on site 109 when it rains it’s the camp spot water flows through so you are left with pure mud and doesn’t dry quick like other spots. When my husband parked to avoid truck in mud as well a worker said he needed to move it to front of campground and if he saw it back the way it was. He would give us a “warning”. Upon leaving our door rug outdoor carpet etc was filthy but we had to leave them out or the inside would of been. Campground has to know of this issue at this site and needs to correct the problem

Well. Everyone checking is was very nice. Fair fees to stay. But some of the spots are not so nice. Our pull through spot had our picnic table and fire pit at the end almost in the road. There are a lot of trees for shade which is nice. I'm not sure we would stay here again unless we could pick our spot.
