Riverview RV Park & Campground

The overall park is nice and the staff is friendly but very busy. The entrance has a bridge over a creek which is nice ambiance. There is a big playground for the kids and plenty of outdoor area to walk dogs. A large portion of the spots are for full timers or seasonal guests so you need to book in advance which is common these days. The spot we ended up with was very odd. It's basically a mound between two ditches with about 18in to 2ft on either side (recommend pulling to your preferred side). Our group had a couple slips and falls on the slopes during setup but nothing major. The mound has a different grade on each end. One is gradual for going up and the other a bit more steep for leaving. You may be able to pull in the opposite way but I did not have the ground clearance. The utilities are to the front side so bring your extension hoses and cords. Depending on your length you may be able to get within 20ft. I was pretty close to making it. The fire pit appears to be shared between two sites on the opposite side of the utilities on the front side.

Stayed here 5 nights. We were a bit worried about reviews that mentioned issues with power and water pressure. Never had problems with either. Staff was great! 2 reasons I could only give it 4 stars, not 5. The area we stayed in has power boxes every other site, so your front door is facing your neighbors front door. Other reason was run down, nasty looking trailers here from full timers. Elderly lady next to us had mice running back and forth from her vehicle to her 5th wheel. Luckily the mice didn't join us... We did have cell service with Verizon & AT&T

Got a spot on the river which was beautiful. Too as the mosquitoes were horrible, but that is not the fault of the campground. Extremely friendly staff. Huge drawback for me was that they cloae the bathroom for cleaning at 830am for about an hour and a half. Terrible timing as many people need to use the restroom at that time and also take showers to start their day. There is another bathhouse available but it is a walk and also busy since the other is closed.

Overall, this was an above average campground.we stayed 4 nights. We loved the dog park, being so close to the water and plenty of space for our 5th wheel and 3500 truck. The staff was very kind - I called ahead of time and they let us in our spot an hour before check-in which was great. The mosquitos were pretty rough in the evening so we didn’t spend much time outside as we like to do (but the RV park can’t help that). My only complaint which is why I am giving it 4 stars is the laundry facilities. Their clothes dryer tore holes in 5 of our shirts and cannot be worn now. Pretty disappointing considering 4 of them were brand new that I purchased local to the area.

We spent two weeks at this lovely rv park just 22 miles from Estes Park. The campground has lots of mature cottonwood trees and a river runs along side. The bathrooms were clean and staff super friendly. The only downside was the water pressure. I read a lot of not so nice reviews that mention the pressure before booking but didn't let that determine me. Full disclosure we live in our 35 foot motorhome full time and have our own toilet/shower on board. Showering, handwashimg, and doing the dishes was not easy at all and doing laundry was almost impossible. That said we feel extremely grateful to even have a washer/dryer on board and we don't generally spend our time at the places we stay. We like to hike and explore the great outdoors and doing that here was amazing!! For those folks who couldn't spend a weekend here without complaining I just don't get you at all. Go back to your big houses if camping sucks for you. Really. I mean what do you expect when you go camping? Anyway the nature was great. Hiking was great and your in Colorado so enjoy it!

I have been camping for over 20 years and this is the worst campground ever. Don’t believe the pictures online it looks nothing like them. The problems start right at the front desk. They are the most unprofessional and least helpful staff I have ever dealt with. They must be having trouble with their septic system because the smell was horrible they have new tanks sitting in a field. Our kids couldn’t enjoy the park because of the smell. The only person who seemed to care and was helpful was the lady who showed us to our spot. This is my first review of a campground and the only reason I am writing it is so someone else who is expecting their vacation to be fun and restful, will choose to go somewhere else! You will regret coming here.

Very nice park with lots of trees and our spot back right up to the river. So relaxing and beautiful. Space.sizes are generous. The restrooms and showers were clean and warm. The employees were cheerful and helpful. A great experience.

When we first looked into Riverview I was concerned about all of the negative reviews. They were all more than a year old. There was only one that was recent and it was positive. We stayed at Riverview for five nights. It was quiet, peaceful and very clean. The entire staff was great. The price was great. Location was central to so much. If can get back to Colorado we will be back to Riverview RV Park.

It is a very nice park, but be careful which site you get. The first site we had was very very narrow and it had a bank on each side. There was no room to sit, our sewer hose wouldn't reach, and our dog couldn't get into the trailer. But we called the after hours number and asked if we could switch to a river site. It was great. Plenty of room to sit outside. Our hoses all fit and our grandson loved playing by the river. The staff was nice and helpful.

The location of Riverview is great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The site I stayed at for 10 nights was a pull through and built up with shared fire pit & picnic tables between the sites. My hammock found two nice trees to hang between and great shade for my class b van. It was a little tricky getting up and down the built up 'gravel pad' and the neighbor children had dug holes into the side playing. I did have to close my windows a couple of nights because of the sewer smell drifting in from the outside. The entertainment on Saturday evening was very good and festive. The bathrooms were as good as expected with people breaking the door latch and leaving beer cans inside. I will stay again with planning a head and selecting a spot I eyed on the river. The stay was enjoyable (the hammock got used extensively 😁) and it was lively with all the children playing, riding bikes, and 'getting into typical children mischief'

We stayed 5 nights in this part, exploring RMNP - Estes Park is only 30 min drive. We occupied a tent site. Very nice place, with a river kids and adults can bath in (2 beaches - one shallow one deep). If you stay for a daytime a sunshade is a must (their rules mention that sunshades are prohibited, however the office allows sunshades on tent sites). The showers are warm and comfortable. As other reviewers mentioned, the sewage can be smelt in some parts of the park, sometimes and not very strong - if this is an issue ask for sites that are far from the septic tank (##T1-T3).

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We stayed here last year and it was beautiful. This year, not so much. Either ownership has changed or park caretakers have changed. We stayed for a weekend, checked in Friday night and left Sunday morning. Let’s start off with Friday afternoon. I got there and went to check in, there were 4 individuals in the office. A girl named Taylor checked me in. She was friendly enough but seemed preoccupied and more concerned with the argument going on between the office manger Jennifer and two other individuals, a male and female, assuming they were employees too. The manager and two other employees were having a very unprofessional argument. They did not care that there were customers in the lobby, they didn’t care that their language was offensive. Jennifer was very rude and the way she talked to those people, she will be left without employees soon. So we get checked in and head to our site. The first thing I notice is the lack of maintenance. The park was so dirty and the weeds were overgrown. It looked like little to no maintenance had been done. We had issues with our water hookups. Called down to the office to be greeted with a “are you stupid” attitude. They need to get a water truck to help with the dust. It was so bad it’s like you were in a constant dust bowl. They have a strict 5mph speed limit yet employees were racing around in golf carts. The amount of day use people there was unreal. They were not parked in designated parking areas and it made getting into your campsite very difficult. People were very loud and inconsiderate. We heard drunken fights at 1am Sunday morning. We then we left Sunday morning, we went to use their dump station. Within 5 seconds of dumping, their station started to backup and back flow. It is apparent that the people who work here do not care. The only person I had interaction with that I have any respect for is Allie. The few times I talked to her she was very sweet, professional and helpful. She is the only one that works there that should be allowed to keep their job.

Everyone was really polite. The office staff even got us a small propane tank after hours because we forgot ours. It is definitely a mix between weekend campers and long term residents. The sites are really, really close together. The grounds are well maintained and clean. We had fun staying two nights.... not sure if we will go again because everything was really packed together,

Awesome place! Wished we had taken photos of our spot but unfortunately we didn't. I'm a bit late at leaving a review but better late than never. We booked via phone about a month out so our check in was a breeze. We were there in late July and got a spot by the river, which was beautiful. We spend a lot of time at the river, here in Texas, so it was a no brainier to get a spot by the river. We did not get in the river but hanging out, with a fire going, listening the the water flowing and a beer in hand, made for a very relaxing time! Our site was gravel with a fire ring and picnic table. The sites were close together but had enough room for us to connect a tent (to the keeder rail of our TAB trailer), with a decent amount of room around it, for walking. They have a little store on the premises and a gazebo with local bands on the weekends. We didn't get to see the band and were quite disappointed but our roller derby tournament ran later than expected. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if ever in the Loveland area
