This park is great! We have been here 3 times and each time things improve. Love the river, campfire rings at your site and on the weekends they have wonderful bands for your enjoyment. You can tell the staff is very committed to making your stay pleasant!

The campground is in a nice location and has plenty of trees. (4*) Most of the people who work there are nice. (3*) However, my spouse and I both had the worst showers ever at a campground - a little trickle of cold water. And we took our showers at 5pm, before the evening rush. (1*) The water and electric hookups were located at the bottom of a “pit”; difficult to get to and dangerous for older people. We slid down and ended up on our knees several times. (1*) Note that many of the loops have easily accessible utilities but make sure that’s what you’re getting for your money. Finally, we only used four of the seven nights we’d signed up for. They wouldn’t consider any type of refund which we can understand, but they could have been nice about refusing instead of saying “no way.” We would not stay here again.

Perfect location for our week long trip - we spent most of our days in Estes Park and the Rockies (30 minutes to Estes and about an hour to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance). Friendly staff and overall clean campsite. It was quiet and we didn’t notice any sewer smells (we stayed in spot 139 next to the river near the back of the park). We also had good water pressure. At the beginning of our week there, the Wi-Fi connection was not good, but they upgraded halfway through the week and it worked much better that last half of the time we were there. It was really nice to have someone help us back our trailer in when we arrived - we didn’t expect that and really appreciated it! Only complaints we had were that the dump station didn’t have water to flush our tanks. The back bathroom needs some updating but was functional. The front bathroom was much nicer. The dishwashing station wasn’t the greatest - needs a taller faucet or deeper sink. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to come back one day soon!

Just finished a weekend getaway here and we will be regulars forsure! I love this place. It's 45 mins from our home but feels like you're nestled deep in the mountains! Perfect for our 2 year old as well, plenty of dirt for her to get into and shade to protect from the sun. The playground could use some repairs but otherwise no complaints! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back forsure!

Horrible place. 1 star is actually 1 to many. The smell of sewer was awful. We could not open our windows in our rig because of the smell. Nobody was friendly at all. People did not clean up after their dogs. The water pressure was a joke The shower barely had enough pressure to rinse off. The website pictures are not what you get. Lots of trashy people living there. Almost like squatters. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Great staff! Very helpful. RVs are close together. Bathrooms were clean but if both of the shower rooms were being used at the same time, one person doesn't get hot water. Large separate outside sink by the bathrooms was nice.

So love the space with the river and the amenities. But they do have issues with dogs in rv's that don't do well with distractions other than a night or 2 unless , spaces are very close and not much privacy due to the closeness of vehicles. And also don't really pay attention to who speeds but bit will tag you for it. Also they have a sign outside if the office that claims if your RV looks too old or isn't within their specifications they have the right to not rent a spot to you... Just beware they pick and choose and will ask you to leave for a policy they notify you about with the 3 level notification they require and a slip of paper noting those requirements. Just as a warning for people that come to this place looking for laid back RV parks

We are currently staying here at at the end of our two weeks! I don’t wanna go! I’m his park is absolutely amazing! We had a really bad experience at the park we were at before here so this has been a breath of fresh air...literally! Beautiful well cared for grounds! Quiet! I read reviews prior to coming regarding water yet we have not had one issue! Bathrooms are clean! The live music is great! I have zero complaints and will definitely be coming back!

The overall park is nice and the staff is friendly but very busy. The entrance has a bridge over a creek which is nice ambiance. There is a big playground for the kids and plenty of outdoor area to walk dogs. A large portion of the spots are for full timers or seasonal guests so you need to book in advance which is common these days. The spot we ended up with was very odd. It's basically a mound between two ditches with about 18in to 2ft on either side (recommend pulling to your preferred side). Our group had a couple slips and falls on the slopes during setup but nothing major. The mound has a different grade on each end. One is gradual for going up and the other a bit more steep for leaving. You may be able to pull in the opposite way but I did not have the ground clearance. The utilities are to the front side so bring your extension hoses and cords. Depending on your length you may be able to get within 20ft. I was pretty close to making it. The fire pit appears to be shared between two sites on the opposite side of the utilities on the front side.

Stayed here 5 nights. We were a bit worried about reviews that mentioned issues with power and water pressure. Never had problems with either. Staff was great! 2 reasons I could only give it 4 stars, not 5. The area we stayed in has power boxes every other site, so your front door is facing your neighbors front door. Other reason was run down, nasty looking trailers here from full timers. Elderly lady next to us had mice running back and forth from her vehicle to her 5th wheel. Luckily the mice didn't join us... We did have cell service with Verizon & AT&T

Got a spot on the river which was beautiful. Too as the mosquitoes were horrible, but that is not the fault of the campground. Extremely friendly staff. Huge drawback for me was that they cloae the bathroom for cleaning at 830am for about an hour and a half. Terrible timing as many people need to use the restroom at that time and also take showers to start their day. There is another bathhouse available but it is a walk and also busy since the other is closed.

Overall, this was an above average campground.we stayed 4 nights. We loved the dog park, being so close to the water and plenty of space for our 5th wheel and 3500 truck. The staff was very kind - I called ahead of time and they let us in our spot an hour before check-in which was great. The mosquitos were pretty rough in the evening so we didn’t spend much time outside as we like to do (but the RV park can’t help that). My only complaint which is why I am giving it 4 stars is the laundry facilities. Their clothes dryer tore holes in 5 of our shirts and cannot be worn now. Pretty disappointing considering 4 of them were brand new that I purchased local to the area.

We spent two weeks at this lovely rv park just 22 miles from Estes Park. The campground has lots of mature cottonwood trees and a river runs along side. The bathrooms were clean and staff super friendly. The only downside was the water pressure. I read a lot of not so nice reviews that mention the pressure before booking but didn't let that determine me. Full disclosure we live in our 35 foot motorhome full time and have our own toilet/shower on board. Showering, handwashimg, and doing the dishes was not easy at all and doing laundry was almost impossible. That said we feel extremely grateful to even have a washer/dryer on board and we don't generally spend our time at the places we stay. We like to hike and explore the great outdoors and doing that here was amazing!! For those folks who couldn't spend a weekend here without complaining I just don't get you at all. Go back to your big houses if camping sucks for you. Really. I mean what do you expect when you go camping? Anyway the nature was great. Hiking was great and your in Colorado so enjoy it!

I have been camping for over 20 years and this is the worst campground ever. Don’t believe the pictures online it looks nothing like them. The problems start right at the front desk. They are the most unprofessional and least helpful staff I have ever dealt with. They must be having trouble with their septic system because the smell was horrible they have new tanks sitting in a field. Our kids couldn’t enjoy the park because of the smell. The only person who seemed to care and was helpful was the lady who showed us to our spot. This is my first review of a campground and the only reason I am writing it is so someone else who is expecting their vacation to be fun and restful, will choose to go somewhere else! You will regret coming here.
