Pros: Location. This park is conveinent to downtown San Diego and all other attractions. The maintenance men are the friendliest and most accommodating. They were the most polite workers we came across. Cons: Everything else. I should have known when people who work there are writing 5 star reviews to boost their ratings. My first issue upon arriving, the staff was out to lunch, fine. I found our information packet posted on a board outside the office. Fine. Then when looking at the pages I realize the woman who took our reservation had written my credit card number on a piece of paper that was then stuck to an outside public notice board! Note to the park, people's personal credit card numbers should go directly into a computer, never onto a piece of paper that is then tacked to a notice board for public viewing. Especially when the park has a problem with homeless people coming in and out to use the facilities! The park is basically a parking lot, though this is what most RV parks in California are. It is in between a highway and train tracks. There was never any peace, so if you're a light sleeper or looking for a relaxing getaway I don't recommend this place. The WIFI never worked, at the price you pay to stay here all amenities should be working. Laundry is $4.50 a load. They allow people to wash their pet things in any washer, dryer and just ask they wipe it down after. I did 3 loads of laundry and all came out smelling like wet dog, we don't have a dog. I would recommend they have dedicated washers and dryers specifically for pet supplies that need washing so the rest of us don't have to have pet hair and smells on our things.

My 5 stars are for location. The park itself is ok. Nothing to write home about but it's clean, quiet and well maintained. My husband and I love the convenience and proximity to everything San Diego has to offer. Just a few miles from Pacific beach.

Nice park. The staff is mostly friendly. They have plumbing issues and the bathroom shower floods. They are nestled between the freeway and train tracks, so there's constant noise (I just pretended it was noise from the ocean waves). Overall nice place to stay for 6 months.

Good lots. Great pool and hot tub. Dog friendly. Some long term residents. Lots are level. Workout room, laundry on site, and a lounge area for internet. Close to everything.

The smell of animal waste is abundant. The lobby staff are judgemental, rude & prejudiced- Straight H8RZ! Noisy from the train was enough, but now they have been doing construction on that road beside the park & freeway, for a long time with incredibly bright flood lighting to boot!! The "resort" is anything but secure, shady dealings particularly later at night, and they have their own paranoid spy network of staff and tenants... No amount of renovations nor fancy advertising, could ever compensate for that DISRESPECTFUL STAFF. THEY SEY THE TONE AND ITS UGLY.

Very noisy next to the I-5 and train also a lot of construction on the road. The WiFi does not work. The sewer system is sluggish. Ping pong table, pool and workout equipment are nice if you like that stuff. Close to Mission Bay. Very expensive for the ambiance. :/

I like some of the staff members they are extremely helpful and appear to love their job. But watch out for a about 2 or 3 they are very rude. The only bad part about this location is the rv age restriction. My rv is too old to be at their park other then that they are great. They have the best price for dumping and refilling fresh water tank.

Both WiFi and cable are unusable. The laundry process has no refund policy for unused credits. Very tight spaces. Roads in park are in dis-repair. Don't consider this park to be a good value considering the high cost. Have decided to cancel a future reservation here and go somewhere else. This park poorly represents San Diego to incoming tourists.

Love this place!! The staff is absolutely awesome. Easy freeway access and close to the beaches. We are excited to be moving into a home but will miss all of the wonderful people we have met here at Santa Fe RV park.

Although the sites are very small, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well kept and the pool was well heated. It's located in a great area of San Diego, near beaches and Mission Bay.

We had booked a week at this RV park (resort it's not), arrived two days late and left as soon as we could find space elsewhere. Our space was so narrow our neighbor hit our RV with the rear view mirror on his truck. We asked for a 50A hookup, got 30A. The park is sandwiched between Interstate 5 and the Metrolink commuter train track. We ran both A/C's to drown out the traffic and train noise. Other than possibly convenience of location, there is nothing to recommend this park. One star was generous...it deserves none.

Nice park, horrible staff. The staff is rude, bigoted, incompetent, and has no issues telling you how you should be RVing. We booked six months ahead of our visit and put down a deposit. Two months prior to our reservation we called to reverfiy our reservation only to find the booked several people over our reservation. They had no solution to solve this problem and never refunded our deposit. I really hope they get rid of the staff they have a get a customer centric team that is camper friendly.

Worst RV park I've been to. I'm currently going through a military PCS, and have been staying in a travel trailer for the past few months. I've moved around to a few different places. (Due to heavy summer bookings) The first impression pulling up to the location, is that you are in between the 5 freeway and the railroad. Yes, the train is extremely loud at 2 am when it comes barreling through. We parked our trailer in our assigned spot, and then were directed to go to the office to pay dues and get registered and familiarized with the property. We walked into the office and were greeted by Nora. By greeted, I mean stared at RUDELY. She sharply asked if the trailer we were staying in was going to be "long term, because it appears soo small." I immediately felt embarrassed and judged because I didn't believe anything was wrong with what we are staying in. (2006 25' Cub trailer). I explained my situation with the military and how this option was far better than paying triple the price for hotel for our last few months in San Diego. My husband and I returned to pay the remaining balance on our reservation a few days later only to be approached again by how small our trailer was. By this point we have seen the other rigs at the park, and ours by far was not the smallest. At that point we had a few questions about the bathrooms. Women gain access by a key card. Same with the men, except she told us that the males restroom remained unlocked during the day and at night you will need a key card. (BIG FAT LIE). My husband drives for Lyft and comes home pretty late at night. He went to shower and refresh before going to sleep around 2:00 am, and the bathroom was still left unlocked for anyone to just come in. (The park has a homeless problem whom sneak up into the park at night. The maintenance men have no problems sharing this info.) My husband went into the shower to discover three piles of human feces in the showers. So, not only do men have to have a fear of anyone just sneaking into the restroom, you'll also need to check your shower to be sure its free of human feces. Our time at Santa Fe was coming to an end, and my husband just wanted to inquire about staying for our last few weeks in San Diego because we've become so tired of moving our rig every week or so. He walked up to the office with baby, dog, and laundry in tow to the office to ask Nora if there were any openings for the remaining weeks of September. For the first five minutes he stood in the office while Nora ignored his presence and continued a conversation with the Maintenance man regarding the taste of the coffee he made. After finishing her conversation he POLITELY asked if she could check for any available sites for the day we were supposed to check out. First she told him that she didn't have time to help him right now, and then she continued to tell him that she doesn't believe there are any open spots available and to come back later on. I can continue to rant on for probably a few thousand more characters. But, I will leave my review as this.. The residents of Santa Fe are really nice and everyone seems to get along. No one at the park likes Nora for obvious reasons. I hope this review reaches the right people because the people who are working in that office are horrible. Blair to be included. Those people make you feel like scum. The sites are not cleaned after someone leaves and the concrete you park your rig on looks like the San Andreas fault line. It is not SAFE for your children if you have any! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at this park for two months and found it to be very satisfactory! The laundry rooms, bathrooms, clubhouse, pool/jacuzzi area and gym were all always VERY clean, neat and stocked with supplies! The noise at first was a little annoying as it is sandwiched between the 5 and a railroad track, but after a few nights I was able to drown out the noise and sleep like a baby. The staff I did encounter were all very friendly and helpful. The campground for being a long stay campground didn't attract the riff raff that some others that I have stayed at do. In fact the majority of the long term people that I met were all very friendly and courteous. The reason for the loss of the star is I did have two issues, one I am sure the campground cannot control and that is no open fires. The other was the mens bathroom lock was broken the entire time of my stay so the bathrooms were closed between 10pm and 6am. This wouldn't have been a problem, but I am a big dude and my shower is to small for me unless it's an emergency situation and my work schedule sometimes didn't allow me to get "home" while it was open. I showered at my gym a lot the past two months. LOL! Not a huge deal for me, others it may have been. Other than those two minor complaints, I would absolutely stay here again for an extended time. I am actually sad that my last night was last night and I am going to be spending my days and nights elsewhere for awhile! EDIT: As I read some of the other reviews, I wanted to give you my take on the negatives I read. There is Wi-Fi and although it may not be the greatest or fastest, it is free and it does the job for checking emails and Facebook. Not one campground have I been in within the past year has Wi-Fi that will allow heavy streaming of say Netflix or Apple TV. The campground may be tight, but if you are experienced driver of your RV or Trailer, this is actually a very easy campground to pull into and back right in. I backed my trailer up on my own, only having to rely very briefly on someone to keep me from backing into a tree. They are angled just perfectly for backing into. Parking is on the street just outside the park, HOWEVER, you will only need that if you have more than one vehicle. This place is also one of the few that do not charge you to keep your extra vehicle onsite. There are about 10 spots (that I never saw full) around the campground used for visitor parking. If they are full, the walk is short to the majority of the campground spots. Noise? Your between the freeway and a railroad track. Get used to it, I did. I got very used to it after about 3 nights. There were a couple nights where the trains did blow their whistles, however that is not the campgrounds fault. Other than that, the campground is very quiet after 8pm and it never got that loud prior to that. There are no wild parties or college kids drinking and playing beer pong all day and night. The average age of the people at this campground can't be much lower than 50.

$5 dump and fresh water hook up. The club house area looked really nice with a little theater. We didn't stay we just made a pit stop to take care of business.
