This is my new Happy Place !! I could literally stay here forever. The cabin is very nice with all the amenities. The RV Park is huge, but quiet and relaxing ! The pool is amazing ! The hot tub jacuzzi was very nice to get in after a day of running around and exploring.

Really friendly staff, nice concrete pads and spacious spots. I chose a covered spot and it was great. You’ll need a router and Ethernet cable for the internet.

Great RV park. The staff is very user friendly and will bend over backwards to work with you. They are a bit high on their prices but it is well worth it. Great service and experience comes at a price, right?

This campground was really nice. The sites were nice and large. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We stayed in a fifth wheel rv, but I did get to peek into a cabin to check it out for a friend and they were clean, and roomy.

Loved our stay this Jan/Feb but just found out new reservations must be at least 90 days. I guess we won't be back next year :-(

We have stayed couple times both extended stays, we love it. Just some winter Texans can try and ruin it by believing the park is just their's but it's no reflection of the park. Glad this is NOT a 55 over park, one of few in the RGV.

Very clean, large rv lots, pretty, 30 minute drive to beach, seems to have some activities planned for long term guests, but very windy. The people that live and work from there drive very fast, not the 7 mph as posted. Be aware that the train runs right by the place several times through the night and honks 3x, kept us awake every night.

We have stayed here before, but we had a place up near the office on the south side of the park. I tell you this because that experience was great. The rv space layout is excellent. A lot of room between most trailers, and the angle of the pads makes for good backing in. What was different this trip is we were in a space in the SE portion of the park. Regardless of telling you to bring your own router and a long cable, our site did not have that kind of Wi-Fi (high speed). We had over the air connection and it was all but fast and we got dropped a number of times. The real secret at this park is to stay well away from the north and east ends. The park is bordered by rail tracks and there is a rail crossing. Not only do the locomotives sit at this location and idle their engines, they blow the horn when they go through the crossing. All night long.

The resort is well kept and the lots are nice and open, lots of space. This place used to be a 55+ resort and still acts like it is although they promote being family friendly. I would not call this place family friendly. A lot of passive aggressive emails and a large part of the community there see kids and families as a nuisance. Not all bad apples but enough to make you feel unwelcome if you have kids. Would not recommend this place for families. I would not stay here again. Also, the booking system and way they charge for utilities is very confusing.

This is one of the best RV parks we have visited. We really enjoyed our month long stay. The sites are very large, the amenities are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the heated pool and hot tub this time of year. We hope to visit again.

Sites are large and have great distance between trailers. Pool is finally warm and hot tub is great. Laundry facilities leave a lot to be desired, there are usually more out of order machines than working. Which leaves not many machines for all the people staying there. Also it seems they was the cabin laundry in the same laundry as the guests and that takes up machines. I would suggest they get their own facilities for that sort of job and not take up our space. Lots of activities to be involved in, usually something going on everyday. We enjoy staying here, this is our 2nd year and will most likely be back.

The park needs to determine what kind of clientele they want to cater to! Permanent works, RV'ers, Winter Texans etc. Rules where constantly bent to try to cater to all but the outcome affects all.
