Fantastic full hookup campground with many pullthroughs. Large wooded lots. If you need them, bathroom facilities could be better. Love COE campgrounds.

Very nice park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sites are well maintained and clean. Older part has smaller, heavier wooded sites but all are very easily accessed even with our larger rv. Only down side was restrooms in older area are very badly in need of upgrade. Also a little convoluted route to park from freeway. We'll be returning.

Beautiful grounds. Lots of walking trails. The best part is full hookups. Sewer hookup right at the site. Quiet, clean and we felt like we were in the forest.

Excellent and quiet campground. Pet friendly atmosphere. The staff are professional and friendly. Clean restrooms. Great relaxation and water sporting activities. Exceptionally great Verizon internet connection! Overall triple A+ rating and 10 out of 10 stars!

Great Army Corps of Engineers campground. Quiet, peaceful, restful. This is our 4th visit as we drive east to west each year.

Extreme tranquility! This park is clean, quiet, private, and nestled in a heavily wooded area. The sites are very spacious and are surrounded with trees for privacy. Lots of roads for kids to ride their bikes and explore. Laundry and restrooms were clean. Playground was great for the kids!

Gunter Hill is a COE campground kind of way off the beaten path. Beautiful area. Paved sites. Decent Laundry and bath house. Lots of paths to walk or ride bike! Nice space between sites! Close to Montgomery- some great history there! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay. We were able to avoid Montgomery totally. Very quiet and peaceful with the water nearby. Extremely nice man and woman at checkout. Thanks so much.

This is a lovely and affordable campground near Montgomery. While there, we enjoyed boating on the river. We used the boat launch at the campground, which was steep(!). There was quite a lot of parking for boat trailers at the ramp. Our site was quite large, and there was plenty of room between sites which we really like. Our site didn't have sewage, though, and the laundry room was locked and looked rough. The bathrooms were also in rough shape. Still, the beauty of the place and access to the water will bring us back.

We stay here whenever we’ve in Montgomery. It’s always beautiful, and peaceful and clean. Lots of trails in the campground. Surprisingly the city and sights are within half an hour drive.

Loved the water and the shore birds. Bath house locations, supplies, and cleanliness were acceptable. Gate staff particularly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Camped on both sides. I perfer the catoma side The gravel side has ANTS. They were in the camper within an hour. They said to put flour or comet all around the camper. I have a dog so I used flour. Helped but they were already in. The rest of the stay was nice n quiet. Beautiful sites.

This is a favorite place to camp, not for humans but for mosquitoes. I was camped in the Antioch loop which is I believe the older loop and there is obvious sign that this place needs some TLC. Restrooms are run down. Things were broken in the restrooms. The road in the campground and to the campground is very rough but I'm not worried about that since I'm never coming back here again.

This is a mixed review. The campground itself is in a nice quiet location with Beautiful sites along the lake. If you don't need the bathrooms then you'll love it. The bathrooms are a mess. We stayed in the Antioch loop. Although the toilets are clean, most of the doors don't lock and are coming off their hinges. The showers are even worse- they need to be redone. The wood look laminate isn't waterproof and is coming apart, some barely holding onto to the connectors. The tiles on the floors are broken, the faucets leak and the metal is rusting. Some of the sink faucets work, some aren't connected anymore and the entire handle moves, and some don't work at all. Its sad to see bathrooms in such poor condition for a campground that otherwise looks nice.

Stayed here a few years ago and it’s a pretty amazing place. Lots of woods and plenty of things to do in the area. Heading back to camp for a few days in a week. Huge campsites and nice pads.
