This was such a beautiful place with full hookups but the staff are amazing and accomadated us when we asked to move to another spot just because we wanted a more secluded spot. We asked and they said no problem, never had such great customer service with a beautiful camp, usually its one or the other. They are close to the Mesa Verde park entrance which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this place and we plan to go again when our kids are ready to start camping.

This is a rustic resort with a pool and miniature golf. I would say things are a bit dated and it's not a fancy resort or anything. The wifi did not work for us. Unfortunately it rained during our stay so we did not get to enjoy the pool or miniature golf. We liked how it was right across from Mesa Verde National Park. And the views were great. The horse farm next door is also super friendly and gives a discount to guest of the RV park. The roads were a little small for our rig (45ft class A bus). Staff was friendly. Trees were a bit close to the spots and they were small, no tables or room for anything. No cable.

What a nice place! The staff was great and professional. I was asked on our second day how are accommodations were so far and they genuinely cared. The lots are gravel, but we are used to that since many campsites have gravel lots. No issues there. We had full hookup and everything worked great. The pool was refreshing for our girls. They did have a hot tub, but we didn’t use it. We played the mini golf course and had a blast. I liked how they made each hole themed after things in Colorado. The laundry area was nice and clean and easy to get to. The bathrooms were well taken care of and had great hot water and water pressure. 😊 our favorite on our last night was the use of their recreational cabin. They have a foosball and pool table (50 cents to play) a large picnic table for playing board games, books to read and a large tv/dvd player for visitors to use. They had a pretty big Movie selection to choose from. We brought our own dvd to play and had a nice time relaxing on the couches. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely recommend them! ❤️

Nice place directly across the highway from Mesa Verde National Park. Sites are gravel and mostly level but not a lot of room to park a towed vehicle or vehicle pulling trailer. Some sites offer views of the Green Table while others in the very back do not. The pool is heated via solar cover and was cold and cloudy, possible algae out break loomed. Over all nice place but would probably stay closer to town if I did it again.

My family and I stayed here for three nights tent camping! It rained all day on one of the days on our trip, so we borrowed movies from their game room, popped popcorn, ate a pizza and were able to have a absolute fun day despite the rain! It is directly across from Mesa Verde Park and Four Corners Horseback Riding. The closest town was about a ten minute drive with lots of good restaurants and cafes. The staff was excellent and all the amenities were kept clean! Would highly recommend.

We have loved our stay here! The grounds are just quintessential Southwest Colorado. Feels like you’re on a farm especially with the beautiful horses next door. The staff are professional and welcoming. We love that they have such a large dog run and a hot tub! Beautiful views to Mesa Verde and right across the street. Sometimes cell service was in and out but ultimately we were able to stay during work hours and get the job done.

This campground is in a perfect location for Mesa Verde Park with beautiful views. An added bonus is horseback riding with a discount right next door! The pool was closed when we were here but the mini golf course and dog park are wonderful. The laundromat is top notch with clean and functional machines. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the sites are very close together making it uncomfortable to sit outside as you can't help but hear everything your neighbor is doing ☹️ (we were in Space 611),.also, sites are all gravel with no cement slab. However there are some sites that seem a little wider. Look at the online map before you book.

Ancient Cedars RV Park is exceptionally nice. I appreciate that they are close to the Mesa Verde State Park and provided an abundance of accurate information about where to go and what to see. We enjoyed taking our dog to the dog park, and while we didn’t find an opportunity to use it, the mini-golf and swimming pool look like fun. We walked around the entire park and it is so neat and clean, the bathrooms are immaculate, and the showers are HOT and relaxing with good water pressure. Our kids got their energy out at the playground and loved seeing equipment; like teeter-totters and monkey bars, they don’t have at their playground. We definitely plan on returning when we pass through this area in the future.

Location is excellent. It is located right outside Mesa Verde National Park. The park is covered by large gravel and the site is okay. However, the amenities are below average with outside bathroom. The park has limited and unreliable wifi. The people are nice and friendly. I would like to amend my review. Yes they did have indoor bathrooms and showers but the closest to our site was our door. 5.19.21

Great staff arranged for our friend to stay right next to us for our three night stay. Really enjoyed having the 1/2 acre dog park, hot tub to soak in after hiking & great showers with plenty of hot water. Quiet at night so we were well rested for our daily adventures. Will definitely be back.

It's a nice/clean RV campground with very friendly/accommodating service. Camp/RV spots are well marked, spacious, level & taken care of nicely. We are here for two night while we visit Mesa Verde National Monument which is a couple miles away from our camp spot. Would definitely return to this campground & would recommend to others. The only drawback we found is internet service is sketchy, obviously not a deal breaker.

Loved our stay at Ancient Cedars! We reserved on short notice and they were kind and accommodating. Great facility, clean and family friendly. The mini golf is in good shape and there’s a nice playground. It’s a big park with lots of space and located right across the highway from Mesa Verde National Park. Overall great experience!

Our stay was short but definitely sweet! We will absolutely be back. The grounds were immaculate. The bathrooms were spotless and the dog park could not have been better. Conveniently located right across from Mesa Verde National Park. Easy check in and out. Definitely stay here!

Overall this was a good experience. It is right across the street from Mesa Verde so it was convenient to visit the park. We enjoyed the clean site and they provide a variety of amenities. There is a small charge to play mini golf, which was unexpected, and the pool doesn't open until around 12 so a morning swim wasn't an option like we had hoped. There are horses right along the fence line which was pretty cool to see, although some sites have barbed wire as the fence to separate the horses so we ended up switching since we have a very curious almost 2 year old.

Terrific RV Park! Very nice grounds with many sites to choose from in different price ranges...even tent sites. Lots of amenities for families and even a fenced area for dogs go run. The owners bought the place a couple of years ago and have been making many upgrades. The bathrooms are remodeled and kept spotless. Right next to them is a horse ranch where you can book rides. The staff is extremely courteous and informative about activities in the area which include Mesa Verde National Park which is only a mile away, Canyon of the Ancients and Hovenweep National Monuments. We plan on staying again!
