The staff was helpful and understanding, we had to get towed at around 2 AM and i forgot the guys name who helped us I think it was William, but he also gave us a ride to a hotel that night and picked us back up that next morning. Aaron was helpful also because he explained and showed me how and where my car’s faults were, I’d definitely recommend this shop to anybody ever in need of vehicle repair or towing.

Amazing customer service! Their team was nothing but helpful when my family and two large dogs needed their help due to a blow out tire that caused additional damage late in the business day on Friday. They offered a loaner car for the night and helped find a place to stay for the evening. They were able to get us back on the road by 10:30am on a Saturday. We can not thank you enough!

My family and I were on our way home from camping at Gulf Shores Alabama. A tire exploded on our fifth wheel taking part of the siding with it. We got off the rode and put the spare on. About an hour later another tire went flat. We were able to get off interstate and pull into market to get gas. What to do. We had no more spares. It was Sunday evening and the next day was the Memorial holiday. There was a Love's Truck Stop Sat the next exit. We called but they did not have any tires to fit. Finally we found a company close to where we were. The young man (Will) answered our call. He was so helpful. He knew what tires he had in stock that would fit. We were a mile away from the business. He said he would be there in 45 min. As soon as he got there he was on the job. The next thing I knew 2 more men were helping him. They drove by and saw what he was doing and came to help. They were employees there also. A little while later the owner came. It seemed like a snap of the finger and they were done. They helped us get back on the rode. They were so nice felt like family.

I cannot express how thankful my family and I are for the kind people at this shop. We were on our way home to Tennessee today from vacation at Gulf Shores and had one blowout on our camper and a little ways down the road had another. We didn't know what to do with no more spares and on a Sunday the day before Memorial Day. We did a quick search and found Southern Dixie. We called and they had the tires we needed and opened their shop to get us back on the road. When you have a fith- wheel camper, three dogs, and a three year old.....not knowing where you are or how to fix a problem is very scary. They made us all feel at ease and in the end, we felt like family. My family can't thank you guys enough!

Headed to the beach for vacation and suddenly my check engine light started flashing. With my wife & our toddlers in the car we were in need of help fast…Southern Dixie got us in and out and back on the road same day, in just a couple hours. CJ was friendly and very informative. I feel the pricing was fair as well. Highly recommend

While traveling on vacation I had to make an emergency stop at Southern Dixie Auto Repair due to a grinding noise coming from my front tire. The technicians were so helpful explaining what the issue was and getting me back on the road! I definitely recommend them for all your vehicle service needs!!

Our transmission gave out on the way home from the beach, still had over 300 miles to go. The guys here were exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to get us to the best option so we could make it back home. Although we chose to just haul our car back home with some help from Alice at the Uhaul right up from the shop, I have absolute faith that they would have fixed it, no problem. From a momma who is truly grateful, thank you!!!! Going to put this on Google and Yelp, too, so everyone can see.

Unfortunately we had to have our car towed, but thankfully Southern Dixie was there to help us. The car was in Pelham, AL and had to be towed back to town. I was scared of how much that would cost, honestly. To my surprise the fellas at Southern Dixie's price was cheaper than what I was expecting. I had never used them before, but I promise I will be calling them anytime we need a tow service!! Great Job Guys!!!😃😃😃

I can't say enough good things about the people at Southern Dixie Auto Repair. My car was stuttering so bad that I barely could get it to the shop. They came out immediately to troubleshoot and check the engine codes. We discovered it would take a number of hours to get it repaired as it was late in the afternoon co-owner Lola volunteered to take us to a local hotel. The next morning they had given my car priority, had the repairs done by 10 a.m. and Lola came and picked us up at our room number! The repair was spot-on and my car drove like new. And is still driving like new several days later. And I might add that the repair was reasonably priced. Everyone was super friendly including co-owner Jeff and Karl the repairman and we had some nice conversations as well. I can't recommend this place enough! BigBen

I was sent there to eat a tire plugged and arrived just after closing. They were happy to help me anyway. Turns out the tire could not be plugged and I had not just run over one nail but likely a box of nails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me order new tires and stayed until we could be picked up.

Passing through heading out of town and my son car started having problems and we had to pull over. Broken belt and had to quickly figure out what to do. Googled mechanic near me and they appeared; 2 minutes away. Called and the lady who answered was very professional and seemed very concerned for us. The most appreciated act of kindness was that they were minutes to closing and they stayed over to fix. Ordered parts and fixed in an hour. Thanks to the receptionist and mechanics. They definitely know how to serve the community and out of towners.

Had A emergency flat tire repair after hours. While pulling a camper. Came out to the store even though the owner had a torn rotator cuff he was willing to help us fix our tire. My husband offered to help him since he had years of experience in this field so the owner would not struggle with his healing surgery he was very kind and we recommend him And his shop to everyone.

We broke down on I65 heading to Gulf Shores on a Saturday morning about 11:30. They towed us in to their shop. They close at 12:00 and were not able to repair my Expedition until Monday. They were great, stuck with us (after closing) & helped us make arraignments for rental car & rented us a loaner to drive back to Birmingham airport to pick up rental (nothing available local). Made repairs at a reasonable price (could have gouged us but didn't) & repair included a "nation wide warranty". We were very lucky to find them so far (500+ miles) from home. Thank You Larry, Robbie, Randy and all the others we didn't talk to directly.
